Working with Bailie from Cactus and Vine Photography has been amazing so I am shocked I have taken…read morethis long to give her the review she is so deserving of. We have been working with Bailie for 3 years now to capture our yearly Anniversary photos. When we moved to Arizona we were nervous about finding a photographer that we could grow with through our years. We think it's so important as we change to capture us growing and changing through the years and Bailie freaking gets it! From scheduling our first photoshoot to our most recent she is the freaking Queen! She is a mom of 4 and has always been exceptionally timely in scheduling and turnaround. She shows up to shoots on time and is very in the moment with you as she works her magic. Each year, we reach out to Bailie to schedule our shoot. She always goes above and beyond to ask our preference on locations - even sending us new ones she finds as she gets closer to our date if we haven't decided on one yet. And even when we do pick - she is there to guide us and recommend new locations if she feels grounds, weather, colors just aren't right. I appreciate her proactive approach to always creating a great backdrop. For locations she has captured really important, memorable spots for us. She not only captures us perfect but ensures the backdrop is just as perfect. When working with her - she makes you feel so comfortable. Even during our first shoot, she created lots of small talk and really got to know us. She has continued to form a relationship with us for the past 3 years making it easier and easier to shoot with her because we are prepared for her hilarious prompts or awkward poses that she promises will come out amazing and I swear she nails them every single time. For our latest shoot, she allowed me to send her a Pinterest inspiration board of ideas and went above and beyond in selecting the perfect location to match the vibe, captured poses from the idea board, and even made sure she captured our Jeep we wanted in the shots. She is open to ask, direction, artist freedom and more and you would be missing out if you missed scheduling with her. Her turnaround time is also top notch. She has never missed a promised turnaround time in all of our shoots and she not only sends you sneeks early but she captures a Polaroid for you to keep as a memory too. I couldn't have asked for a better human to capture our growing love for years to come. I can't wait to see what is next for us!

Ryan & Denise Photography were so amazing to work with! I spent so much time researching potential…read morephotographers to capture my husband's and my wedding day. I don't even remember how I came across Ryan & Denise's Instagram, but I am SO GLAD that I did! A lot of the pages I had come across had a portfolio full of photos that were edited with either a yellow tinge or overly contrasted. I know nothing about the right verbiage to describe their editing style (lol), but it aligned with what I was looking for - light and airy/whimsical, while still remaining true to color. When I reached out to them, they set up a Skype call that my husband, my parents, and I joined. From the start, both Ryan and Denise were so personable and sincere! Going into our own marriage while working with a married couple/photographers was so fun! You can tell that they have so much love and passion for each other and their family, which made us all feel so comfortable! As we got to know each other on the call, we felt so solidified in our decision to work with them. They are confident, organized, detail-oriented, and very talented! They photographed us for an engagement shoot, which I would highly recommend! This helped us become familiar with different poses and also simply validated our decision to work with them even more. They worked out a whole timeline of our wedding day, from start to finish, and which pictures we would capture when. Their initiative and organization truly alleviated a lot of my stress! On our big day, the bridal party was running a tad late to the venue, and we also had a little snafu with the flower delivery (couldn't find where the bouquets were dropped off). Despite these events, Ryan and Denise were able to keep us on track with our timeline. When it came time for Ryan and Denise to review the photos from our big day, they reach out to immediately notify us that they realized we missed something on our "shot-list". Amidst all the chaos of running late and whatnot, we forgot to photograph the ladies in a group picture. I did, however, still get all the individual shots as the bride with each bridesmaid and my mom. We appreciated them being forthcoming and "owning" the mistake and sincerely apologizing for it. We purchased the wedding album package that includes 30 pages/15 spreads, and they added 6 more pages/3 more spreads as a little gift to us - such a nice touch and kind gesture! All in all, we are so grateful for this duo. Thank you, both, for capturing the best day of our lives!!
