I just had my maternity photos done with Lizzy, and She. Was. Incredible…read more I am NOT an in-front of the camera type of gal. And I actually didn't even contact her for maternity photos. But this being my first pregnancy, Lizzy really helped me understand the *why* behind maternity photos. I wasn't even thinking of how much my baby will love knowing the story of him. And this bump is just the beginning of his legacy. Lizzy was so sweet in taking time to understand me, and understand my confidence issues too. To be honest, I was nervous day of my shoot. I felt fluffy and big. No pregnancy glow, for sure. But Lizzy has this amazing closet of GOWNS - stretchy, fabulous. I swear there's 100 gowns in this closet. I felt like a Princess. She had a makeup/hair gal in the studio for me too - and just gave me enough care to shake the jitters. Hair and makeup really helped. Even when Lizzy started shooting, I was still a little nervous - but she flipped the camera around a few shots in - and honestly, I couldn't believe the person she showed me. The light, my positioning, the dress... I was just overwhelmed (probably pregnancy hormones) by just how beautiful I felt looking at those few images. I would have cried if I hadn't just had my makeup done! Lizzy was such a cheerleader the whole session. "Remember to extend your chin." "Oh, That's beautiful." And I swear, she was the most sincere, genuine human the entire time. Lizzy is a freaking gem. She is so talented, and so, so kind. The pictures are incredible, but I feel like they wouldn't have been without Lizzy - her eye and her coaching. I am SO grateful to have these photos for my baby and for me, to be honest. One of the best investments I've ever made - because I'll just never have this moment again.

I'm so so disappointed, It started off by me sending emails no response back. Then my daughter sending follow up emails and she would get a response like my assistant put the emails in the wrong client folder etc. She expressed she was going Japan and when she got back we could visit the Studio. We went to see the studio booked my daughters maternity sessions. Jan 1st comes photos were taken with both my girls. I have sent follow up emails no response, daughter has left her a voicemail no response, my other daughter even sent a few emails to her no response. Needless to say she has Ghosted us!!! I'm so sad this was a once in a lifetime opportunity to get my girls photographed together and I'll never see the photos. My daughter is due anytime now thank god my daughter found another photographer to take pictures of them. The sad part is I won't get them together like I wanted. As a mother seeing your two daughters pregnant at the same time is a surreal experience and I'm devastated at the fact I will never get the photos. To me my impression of Lizzy is she a nice woman that may have allot going on but no communication is death for your business!!!! Not responding to emails and voicemails is beyond unprofessional. Businesses depend on reviews to thrive now a days and it sucks that I have to put a review up like this. I see she has good reviews from others but my experience was unprofessional to say the least. I am doing this review to save other from being hurt and disappointed. Do your due diligence research and follow your gut.

Do not hire this photographer. She refused to refund our money for the wedding ceremony pictures…read more Wedding was postponed 1 month before the original scheduled date due to the pandemic. She requested the full payment still, which we did as a courtesy. April wedding postponed to June, then Sept due to pandemic. When we went ahead and did a small 10 people ceremony in Sept, she couldn't make it. But she didn't refund our $1100 either even after numerous requests. Every other vendor refunded us, but her. So disappointing.

She recommended Rivkah and my husband and I couldn't be happier with the decision! As a doula Rivkah had several prenatal and postpartum visits with us and went over everything from birthing positions, breastfeeding, emotional support, tips for my husband, and so much more. She was available via phone and text for all my questions and checked in with us regularly. As photographer she was superb! Having someone take such intimate photos as those that occur during childbirth can be intimidating but Rivkah made me feel so comfortable that I honestly didn't realize she was there for the majority of the time (with the shots she got it's hard to imagine!). She was so helpful with the whole process and was so amazing! I thought I had everything organized but like most things, shit happens. She was there with us all day from helping my family set up the location all the way to the end when we took everything down.
