As other market research companies steadily drop off my radar due to inconsistent or even…read morenonexistent payment practices, Fieldwork Dallas gets closer and closer to being the last one standing. They make it simple and straightforward to participate. It starts with filling out online questionnaires to determine if you qualify for a study. Once chosen, they have you show up at the designated time and place - either at their north Dallas facility, or better yet, online for remote studies. Then you give opinions on products or services. Finally, you receive the agreed upon compensation, usually in a couple of days. So far, Fieldwork has a 100% success rate in doing all of this (unlike some of their competitors). They get bonus points for offering extras like early bird drawings for additional cash, providing an assortment of snacks and drinks in their office before the start of studies, and multiple payment options for their incentives (prepaid virtual credit card, physical card or a deposit to a bank account). The last one is important since the days of walking out with an envelope full of cash seem to be long gone. And, this applies to pretty much all of these types of companies, not just Fieldwork.

They crammed a very expensive analytics tool called "Hubspot" down our throats, saying it was the tool of choice for Mojo Media Labs and they were experts at it. But they were unable to even sync it up with a basic website. They locked us up into a contract and began to take their monthly draws off my Amex. There were many "strategy meetings", "weekly and monthly agenda", "game-plans", "critical paths", but "NO RESULTS". Promise after promise of doing "Campaigns", but nothing ever actually got done. Their experienced sales rep's steal new ppl's sales to meet their quota weekly so they can be promoted into management faster. The owner, and managers do not care to address these problems once it's brought to their attention. You work long hours and they expect you to work even longer hours which is slave labor. In addition they send you out 30 to 45 minutes from your home and think that the base pay is going to cover for gasoline, extra miles or the wear and tear!!! Management stereotypes any attractive woman that has a brain and knows how to use it.
