My go-to recycling place! I believe I've been here more than three times already. I remember being a little skeptical at first because recycling centers aren't always located in the best areas, and as a woman, safety is important to me. However, this place is close to stores and residential areas, and it's out in the open rather than tucked away in a hidden corner, which definitely makes me feel more comfortable and at ease. It's a little out of my way, but it's absolutely worth the extra drive for me, especially for the peace of mind and feeling of safety. I'm happy to have found this place! read more

Pretty good set up, easy to do on your own. It will help to have your recyclables sorted before going but you can do it there. Nice location on Zenith. read more

We are happy we finally found a recycling place to take the cans and plastic bottles we have been saving. It was very easy, nice location, plenty of parking. It was our first time here. The young man told us to use their large trash cans to separate the different types of items. read more

Best recycling place and I've been many different ones. The guys are really nice and very helpful! Thanks guys!

Just want to say... if you take part in recycling and trying to keep the environment clean while cashing in on a few bucks... This location and all the staff present were very professional, kind, and quick! We drove from Elk Grove just to try it out based on other feedback! Thank you, Team Ivan's! We will be back! read more

Located behind the building, you have to go towards the back to find it when you enter into the parking lot .... Very nice very friendly. And also pretty fast. And also on Tuesdays you get more banged for your buck which is a lot better incentive than all the other places offer . read more

Very kind employees that make it an enjoyable experience! VERY kid friendly and I feel I get great value for my recyclables. I would recommend this site to anyone who's able to come. read more

I like this place other than the fact that I can't bring my young child here due to the blonde woman that works there dressing so inappropriate in insanely short and tight booty shorts that makes her butt completely seen and not appropriate for young children to see smh read more

5+ years of coming to Ivan's Recycling and the service is consistent. Truly an amazing recycling place and we appreciate it!

My daughter and I do this together it gives her some spending money. We've been here many times and have walked away happily, which is why the 3 stars. Today we took in one of our largest hauls. 10 cans full 6 cans and 4 plastic. We walked away with only $60! The man in front of us had 14 cans and walked with $141. I cannot help but feel ripped off. Unfortunately we will have to find a new place to take our recycling... read more

This place ripped us off really bad. we had 6 cans of crushed aluminum cans. The acale says each bucket was over 5 pounds each. And only 19 pounds total weight? Come on... i do not recommend this place read more

This place is quick and easy. Honest people with good attitude. Even on a hot summer day all of the employees have a smile on their face. About average price for recycling, you can earn more if you come on a Tuesday but the wait will be longer because it's busy. read more

I've been going to Ivan's recycling for years. They Honest, fast and employees are considerate.

We only go here now, the kids are all very helpful, the place is kept very clean, and they give you a fair price. Tuesdays you get ten cents more for cans too. We have been at least ten times, and never had an issue. We also noticed the hours have changed to being open later, which is helpful and speaks to the demand for these guys. Good job, Worth the drive and cash in my pocket! read more

This recycling center is super easy and fast. The gentlemen there were really nice and helped me out right away. The prices were good and the whole process was smooth with no hassle. The line moves super fast. Definitely one of the better recycling spots around and It's now my go to spot. read more

A reliable recycler. Never had a problem doing the recycling and paid in cash. Lines not very long.

These guys are great. Very fast to move people through, good prices and fairly friendly. I do recommend people go to them quite often.

I have never had a problem and employees are pleasant. They are organized and the line always moves fast.

I appreciate this recycling business. They have garbage bins to put your recyclables in, it is well organized, if there is a line it goes quick, and they give you a good value for recyclables. Particularly for cans on Tuesdays. I will keep going back. read more

Containers are available for us to put our cans and bottles in. They weigh them, we sign the form and they pay us. Very organized.

Very friendly and nice people. Easy parking. They have bins to place your stuff in. Highly recommend.

Very quick and efficient. A lot better than other recycling spots. There's not usually a wait, but when there is it is pretty quick regardless. read more

I've been to a few different recycling places before, and this one is definitely my favorite. Because it's behind a shopping center, there's plenty of room to park and unload your cans. There are tons of empty trashcans that you pick up and bring over to your car. The next step is to start separating all of your recyclables. One trashcan for cans, another for glass bottles, another for plastics, etc. Once you're done, bring them on over to their shipping container and they'll weigh and pay you out. This is the only recycling center I plan on using. read more

In an effort to teach my daughter the value of money, I made her collect aluminum cans for a couple of years. We ended up with garbage bags of cans and so off to Ivan's Recycling we went. Located in a parking lot, there is a container structure and temporary shade set up where you empty your cans & bottles into their garbage bins. They take those and empty them into a scale and then give you the market rate that they are offering. No need for ID or anything like that, they just weigh everything and give you cash. Daughter was pleasantly surprised that her haul netted her about $40. The employees working there were helpful and jovial - highly recommend! read more

Took my granddaughters recycling. It's recycling place guys that work. There were nice containers that you put your recycles in. We're clean. Location was good. read more

I've been to Ivan's Recycling Center a few times now and usually during a weekday. With each visit Ivan's Recycling Center gets more organized and popular. As others mentioned, the staff is friendly, helpful and very efficient. There are a lot of garbage bins for sorting and like I mentioned the staff is efficient so they're constantly clearing and restocking the bins. I would have to say the least efficient thing around here is me sorting through months of recyclables!! Some tips would be; (1) wear gloves, (2) wear a hat on sunny/hot days and (3) bring some help! read more

I had a whole pick-up truck bed full of recycling. Took it to Ivan's and the place was clean, organized, and the line moved super quick!

This is the first time I have been here. It's actually located behind a grocery store. There were a ton of people waiting in line. The workers were nice and were helpful. The good thing about this place is that you don't have to take off the bottle caps. It's saved me a lot of time. Will I go here again? Definitely! I need to accumulate more things to recycle. read more

I have used numerous other recyclers in and around the area and have encountered many to be dishonest and unprofessional. I had been in the habit of weighing all my recyclables prior to turning them in and consistently being short changed by most of them until i came to Ivans Recycling . They are very honest and i no longer feel the need to weigh my cans before hand. The two people Ivan has during the week that run the operation a re very nice, personable, and professional. Very hard to find good employees like them. Keep up the good work, integrity, and ethics....it doesn't go unnoticed! read more

Best recycling around! Tuesday is aluminum day. Grab some empty cans, separate what you got, take them up to be weighed. It's just that easy! read more

So been hoarding all these bottles , cans and Plastics. I was looking for a place to take them to. Ivens recycling as located right off of 80 and and Antelope Road. There were 2 guys today and the parking lot was a very full . I came in the afternoon I'm surprised there's a lot of people like me doing this in the heat. The big Gray garbage bins are out for you to fill up and sort your items. You walk right up no ID required and they are super efficient And fast with processing you and getting you out of there. read more

Visited Ivan's Recycling for the first time today. Very pleased - this is my new spot for recycling our household cans. There was a bit of a line but it went super fast. Why? Because apparently Ivan only hires positive, motivated, efficient gym rats. No really, he does. By the time I was finished there were three workers there, yes all super buff, just knocking it out. Positive, clean, friendly, efficient. What more could you ask for from a recycling operation? BTW - apple maps took me to the front of the shopping center parking lot - google took me to the correct spot in the back (hope that helps.) read more

Fast and Friendly service. Location is clean and in a wide open parking lot. Only recycling center I go to and highly recommend to everyone.
