It is well located in the heart of Benalmadena and clearly caters to locals, expats, and tourists. I have never had such an efficient ER experience. I was in and out in 20 minutes. They took my information and assigned me a number DMV style. I was seen first by a nurse who asked me my symptoms and took my vitals. I returned to the waiting room and waited less than 2 minutes where I saw the doctor. He asked me questions (in English) about allergies and symptoms. He then asked if I preferred a shot or IV (shot for me). I returned to the waiting room and in two minutes the nurse gave me my shot.
I then paid. Cost? €140. My ER experience in San Diego to get something out of my eye was about 11x that last summer.
This experience makes it easier to move to the EU.
