The guy who hit me was totally fine and his car was totaled, he got a new one almost immediately. After hiring my attorney I was not contacted for another 13-14 months. Never returned my calls. Never talked to Ted again. First, I had to call multiple times and demand someone to call me back regarding my case, then anyone who called me didn't know my case they had no clue what was going on. When I finally had my depo (3 yrs later) I walked in and they had a guy I've never talked to and we were going on a zoom call. He knew nothing until he read my file as my deposition was going on. About 6 months or more later we are now in 2021, I had a mediation set up, let me just say still to this point I have never talked to the same person twice. It was always a shit show and let me call you back. Needless to say Oscar the grouch, was my representation for my mediation. I was literally humiliated at the way he huffed and puffed and literally blew my case to shit (I know the 3 little pigs). So, I said just settle you guys are worthless. They get you to sign the paper work for them to get paid a huge chunk. They don't care if you get any compensation. They def don't care about your health issues. They want you to sign off with all medical care and get their chunk of change it was disgusting. They literally walked away with more than they got for me, which didn't even cover a car for my totaled car. It really only took care of my medical bills which my insurance already had done. They got more money in their pocket and were happy that I was done and an unhappy client. There was no fighting for justice at all. Lesson learned! They hold up their opinions of lawyers especially Oscar. He def had to come from the roach rat sucking class of law school. Just can't believe I fell into their trap! If it says on their company website: injured lawyer RUN! Represent yourself! You literally fight the insurance companies, you don't need a roach Rat lawyer for that and you are just a piece of their profit to line their fat pockets! It's a scam! He eventually made up an excuse about being too sick to continue my case. I think it was because I was fighting him on letting the Geico get away with a lowball offer. Best thing that ever happened to me. I got another lawyer who got the policy limits. GEICO caved. Piece of advice: go with your gut and stick to your guns. Being a lawyer is a business, too. They need to balance effort versus pay-out, and if they can make quick money by settling your case with a letter or phone call, they will. If you are truly injured, fight.
