This is why you see a tray in the picture, it is a convenient way to try many different things in one sitting without having to walk too much. We had a 3 year old with us and the open space and casual non-restaurant atmosphere makes it especially kid friendly. Only the rice from the picture is from the Arroceria, the two tapas next to it are from an adjacent stall. This is probably the best paella we had in or time in Spain. We did not go to Valencia though but had it a bunch of times in Zaragoza, the Basque Country and near Barcelona. We ordered it a lot despite being outside of Valencia because our 3 year old absolutely loved it. This was our first night in Zaragoza and in Spain, and we thought this was a great way to try a lot of different food very quickly in a kid friendly place. Highly recommended. The other nights we walked more around the Tubo. You can enter this place from an escalator in the plaza the España or though a back entrance in the tubo (a specific area in the old town where there are a lot of restaurants).

The flavor combo together is unreal. This dish sings! Whenever we're in Zaragoza we make sure to come to this restaurant and I must order this dish. I wouldn't be lying if I told you we purposely stopped in Zaragoza on a road trip just for this dish! On a one night start t we actually came for dinner and again for lunch before we had to go. But the ambiance and decor are all so lovely. This last time what the first time I visited as a parent with kids and the staff were so kind and accommodating, especially when my baby girl was crying. My husband had an egg and jamon dish. He liked it. We finished with a piece of cheesecake. More dense than we get in the US, and really good. Nice wine list and a full bar is available. If you don't speak any Spanish have Google translate ready. Not a lot of English spoken, but enough. You can always communicate to some degree. It's got an antigue hodge podge theming. Cute.

The tomato dishes were outstanding as was the Spanish jamon. The wait staff were engaged and fun to order from even with our rudimentary spanish. We had 2 sets of six tapas on our last visit, and I liked some more than others but fun to experiment with. There is a QR code to see an English menu but its largely in Spanish to be ready to use Translate or go with the flow and enjoy the stuff you like most and the ambience.
