The experience was amazing, Merlin loved her! I came home to a well fed happy cat and I got a detailed account of every day I was away and text message updates with pictures. I will definitely use her again, with zero worry about my fur baby because I know she will be well taken care of. If anything I'm only afraid of Merlin switching her allegiance to Sandra and forgetting who I am lol. So grateful for Home Sweet Home cat sitting!

She knew just when to ask questions and exercised great judgement with our asthmatic kitty and didn't blink at giving daily medications. She takes amazing care of the dogs and follows every request I give her. She keeps them safe and loved. Both of my pups has separation anxiety and they are both so calm with Stacey. In October 2024 Stacey had surgery half way through our vacation so she had Danni come stay with our pups. Then the unthinkable happened and while on vacation we got hit by a hurricane and were not allowed to fly out of Florida. We had to stay an extra two days. Danni stepped up and stayed with the pups and allowed me to not worry about them. She literally was a life saver to us and thank you isn't enough. It's bad enough we had to worry about a hurricane, changing flight plans and extending our hotel, but to worry about someone staying with your pups was something Danni allowed me to not have to worry about! Stacey is never allowed to retire because that means I can't vacation anymore. There is no one else I trust with my pets. She allows me to actually enjoy my vacation because I know my babies are beyond taken care of!

I was hesitant to leave a review since several coworkers recommended this pet sitting company to…read moreme, but I feel it's important to share my experience. I booked two 30-minute drop-in visits for total of $60 per day because house sitting wasn't available (which would be around $70 per night). Unfortunately, most visits seemed to last only about 10-15 minutes recorded by our door entry log. Pet sitters I've used from other companies have always stayed the full time, even if my shy cat, Kingsley, didn't come out right away, so they could slowly gain his trust and ensure he received his medication. This sitter seemed to be in a rush and didn't put in the same effort, which was disappointing given the importance of his care. I did let the sitter know that if it was impossible to dose him, it would be ok but I thought eventually she would be able to coax him out to give it to him like my past sitters.

Outstanding service. Without any hesitation, set up a call with Catherine. We were lucky enough to work with Catherine several times - the first a weeklong trip followed by two days here and there. We have three (spoiled) rescue cats. We switched to wet food and they're fed twice daily. I thought she would be coming by to hit the litter box and feed them, but she also has a list of things she'd do each visit: Play time, love, etc. Just when my mind would start to wander and wonder how my furballs were doing, she would send a quick text and a pic of our little pride. For each day she came, she provided a list of what was accomplished and a brief summary re: their behavior. Bonus: she's an energy healer. Who doesn't want someone like that taking care of your cats? Why didn't I make energy healer/cat sitter my career path? I digress. The only downside is she's wise enough to not cross the bridge and we just moved to Portland. If you're in Vancouver - set up the consultation. You'll be confident and so happy you did!

They made arrangements to have Molly and, I believe, Christine come to my home to meet the kids. So, while I was interviewing them they were interviewing the cats. I finally took the plunge and signed up. It was fantastic----knowing the kids were going to have food, water, clean boxes and plenty of attention. I say plenty knowing full well that 24 hours of continuous petting and cuddling is barely meeting the minimums as far as the cats are concerned. However, when I got home they were content and happy and well fed. Molly was kind enough to send me text messages and photos of the kids while I was gone so I knew they had really been there---lol---and let met see I was not being missed much. The security of knowing these ladies will come in and care for the cats is a tremendous relief for me and makes it possible for me to do some traveling. One of the really neat things was they were already well known in my apartment complex as they visit some other pets here - so my apartment manager knew them. And gave me good reports on them before I signed up. I will certainly recommend Sit and Stay to anyone who needs pet care from caring qualified professionals.
