I've been seeing different injectors in San Diego for many years. I actually found iThrive on Groupon. It turned out to be a good choice. Kristine is a very experienced nurse and takes her time. I'm thrilled with the results. She does my Botox, RHA, and recently I just tried Sculptra. Being a nurse myself, I'm very picky about treatment methods. Kristine is honest and keeps it conservative. I'm one of her older clients so I'm careful not to overdo it. I like the natural look better, and she achieves this every time. The office staff is also great, they are very accommodating and friendly. Bree and Chantel are helpful in getting me the best deals and scheduling my appointments. I'm so glad to finally have a permanent injector. read more

Amazing team and amazing work by Kristine! I've been going to iThrive for over a year now and it's always been a pleasant experience.

I came here for botox and sporadically decided to get a syringe of lip filler. I now wish I would have had my first experience with lip filler elsewhere. I was happy at first... but a short amount of time went by and noticed a lump on my upper lip & my lower lip. I don't think Kristine massaged my lips enough. Also, upon my second injection at another location I was told that in 3 months the filler had already migrated because it was injected too superficially. Meaning she didn't go deep enough. On top of that, when I was at iThriveBeauty, I signed a document that said I didn't want my photos posted on social media & she posted me to her story. All around pretty disappointed I won't be returning. read more

wow this place was amazing! Super great service! I got an immunity shot and i feel so much better

Kristine is the absolute best. She is always informative, patient and kind. I was on the fence about getting my lips done for the longest time and she made me feel confident in my decision once I finally pulled the trigger. I'm so glad that I did. They are super natural and really balance out the rest of my features. I always get so many compliments! She is also the only person that I've been able to get Botox from that does it just right for my tiny forehead. I would hands down recommend that anyone looking for an extremely talented, gorgeous and sweet heart of a human to get your work done with, to go to Kristine. read more

I followed Dr. Christianson here because he is a rockstar of a doctor who manages my care through infusion services. He is a great listener, caring and used his extensive knowledge/training to put my health back on track. read more

Really pleased with this place! I initially came in for a filler/botox consultation, not really knowing what would get me the result I want ("Please take off 10 years, but also without anyone knowing" lol)... But truly, Kristine was wonderful, helpful and I couldn't be happier with my results. Even looking at myself, I find it hard to pinpoint exactly what's different-- except that I look far more refreshed. Not younger, necessarily, but more youthful. Which really is exactly what I hoped for read more

Ami is hands down the best!!! My sister stumbled upon this place and made an appointment with Ami to get her lip filler a few months back. She came home, ranting and raving about how fantastic Ami was and her lips looked great! So I knew that when it was my time to update my lips, I was going to try iThrive Beauty. I made an appointment and went in last week to get my lips done, and I am beyond thrilled with the results! I've done my lips multiple times, and they have never looked this good. Ami was so nice, knowledgeable and honest! She talked me through everything she was doing, and she was by far the most gentle and painless apt I have had for filler. 10/10 Recommend Ami at iThrive Beauty!! read more

I'm soooo happy! I went in to get Botox and left with a lip flip as well! I had never even heard of a lip flip but it was quick and painless. The staff was so nice and everyone was so knowledgeable and helpful. I can be extremely picky and indecisive but Rebecca was very patient with me and educated me on what would fit me best, I feel 21 again hahaha. Love this place I will be back for my under eyes. read more

Wow what an amazing experience! The staff is absolutely amazing and just so welcoming. I felt extremely comfortable the second I walked through the doors . The receptionist Calista up front was honestly one of the nicest people I've met in a long time. This was my first time so my anxiety should have been through the roof and it wasn't thanks to the amazing customer service. My nurse Kristen was so honest and genuine from the very beginning. I fully enjoyed my experience, so much that I made another appointment. Thank you so much for this experience. Happy New year ! read more

Kristine is amazing. She is very professional, considerate of your goals, and is able to explain very well what needs to be done and why. I got my botox done here a few months ago. It was my first time at this med spa and I was so impressed with how clean and nice everything was inside! I'd recommend looking elsewhere for your health needs. Nice office, nice office staff. Poor communication and poor service overall. Seems unorganized read more

I took advantage of their special for dysport. It didn't completely take, not to mention it only lasted 1 month. When I asked for a touch up, they said they would give 15 units at no charge and I would have to pay for any additional units. It has been my experience in the past, if a customer is unhappy, touch ups are free. They didn't extend that courtesy to me. Communication is great, staff is great. Having said that, I won't use iThrivemd again. read more

My first time using botox went for a consultation.. staff and office is nice .. but I'm displeased with my results if botox to my forehead. My first time used about 20 units lasted a month. Second went back in since 20 didn't work bumped up to 30 units.. yet another month. I'm back to square one.. with a week before my wedding.. in the midst of all that, I referred a friend and she went for lip injections and botox, lips came out beautiful for her but she had the same issue with botox, well today she went in for a reevaluate of her forehead same as mines only to be told the botox is diluted with saline, I know it has to be diluted but when you given more saline than you should its worrisome... now I know everyone's face is not the same but we both have now experienced the same thing .. now when she informed me of the news ,I was shocked , as you know its costly .. and you want what you pay for. Not a diluted version .. I was tempted to go back but after her experience and what was told to me , think I'll go elsewhere.. I was just disappointed as a consumer left with the feeling its not us its you type of thing. read more

Went in over a week ago for Botox, I got more units then I've ever gotten yet it looks like I didn't have anything done. My wrinkles look exactly the same. I'll never go here again, and I see that many other people are saying the same thing happened to them in the reviews. Don't waste your money on this place. read more

I can't explain how much I wish I would have done this five years ago. I got fillers around my mouth to reduce the fine lines and in my lips (kiss filler), and I never thought it could look so natural. I'm so happy with the results!! The staff at ithrive beauty is great. Everyone is friendly and accommodating. However, the botox is subpar. I have gone to several other medical spas before and have achieved much better results with less botox. It seems like they may dilute the botox and give less than they charge for. The last time I went I barely saw any difference at all and I still havent received a call back when I left a messaging questioning the results of my botox. I highly recommend avoiding ithrive unless you want to throw your money out the window. . read more

I've been going here for the last couple of months now and have been super happy with the service I have received. Communication with the staff via text, email, phone or in person has been prompt, professional and excellent. When visiting the clinic, the entire staff has always been welcoming and helpful. In a time where it's hard for many companies to find good people to work, iThrive has been fortunate to keep a great staff onboard and it's nice to be able to work together with them on improving my health. read more

I was looking forward to receiving Juvederm lip filler yesterday but it never happened. I purchased a Groupon (Disclaimer- NEVER had an issue with a previous groupon purchase) and made an appointment about a month ago. I was contacted by their receptionist, Lauren, twice prior to my appointment to confirm. Anyways, I get there early (as requested), get numbed and the nurse says, "okay, so I have to tell you something. This could be in or not in your favor". She then tells me that they are out of Juvederm! My options were she could give me some new product for no upgrade fee or I would need to reschedule. Ridiculous! How can a professional medical spa confirm an appointment with a client and NOT ensure they HAVE the product for that appointment?!? Insane. The nurse was wondering why I didn't want the other product- she said it's a better product... umm, I have no idea what this product is and am not going to put something in my face without researching it just because you say it's better. I've have been using Juvederm for years- that's what I paid for, confirmed my appointment for and was expecting! She also says, "I don't do inventory, I just show up and do injections". This office obviously has POOR communication! It was clear they were pushing this new product- their office had ads for it everywhere and were banking on me taking it. This place wasted my entire day- I planned it all around this appointment and even cancelled a trip because I thought I was getting my lips done. Extremely unprofessional and the nurse was rude. Oh, but they did pay for my parking - wow, thanks!!!! Do not come here!!! Immediately had my Groupon refunded. No way would I ever come back to this shady office or have that rude nurse inject me. read more

I went for Juvederm originally and had a good experience. I then went back for Botox and had a horrible experience. $420 , 40 units and 10 days later my forehead still had wrinkles as well as by my eyes. Not just a little it looked like I had nothing done. I called them up and went back in because I wanted to ask what happened? Because she really didn't put that much in my forehead at the first appointment. I was told " oh I did that on purpose because I want to see how your muscles react."And then proceeded to say " so I know how much saline to dilute it with" Huh? So you did it on purpose so I'd come back and pay more? But I paid for 40 units at the first visit? Then she pulled up the picture and compared it to my forehead 10 days later and it was the same as when I came in. She said "oh you can use a little more " then she put another syringe in same exact spots as before except this time she went across the middle of my forehead which is where it was supposed to go the first time. It's almost 2 weeks later and it's the same thing except now I have had 2 headaches and I never get headaches and my forehead feels really heavy. I can say that I have never experienced anything like this before, ever. For 40 units my whole forehead, eyes, bunny lines and glabella are frozen. It's not cool and I'm out $420. I did call to complain again and was told they have more nurses who can give me more? but I will never go back to that place again. If you need a tiny amount of Botox then this place is for you ( but expect to pay a whole lot for that little amount) but if you need a lot I would go somewhere else unless you like throwing money away. By the way this happened to my co worker and 2 other people where I work. If you complain they tell you how Botox doesn't work for you anymore and how you need dysport instead. It's was my friends first time going does she need dysport to because her Botox doesn't work anymore either? read more

I have been getting botox from the same location for years before I moved to the San Diego area. I was very hesitant to try a new practitioner since botox is a procedure that is done on my face. I was referred to iThriveMD from a friend of mine, who's results we natural and beautiful, and I must say... I am so thankful I went! I saw Rebecka for the first time last month and I immediately felt at home, comfortable, and confident that I was in great hands. My botox came out natural and pristine! I am so thankful I found my new go-to spot for botox located in the new place I call home. Thank you iThriveMD, see you soon! read more

After years of experiencing leg heaviness, restless legs and unsightly, painful, varicose veins, Dr. Damani was able to get to the root of my leg problems and worked out a treatment plan to repair my vein reflux. His staff worked with my insurance to get the entire treatment plan covered, and I was able to have RFA and Varithena done. I have had such a tremendous outcome from these treatments, and I no longer have the symptoms that I was experiencing before. Additionally, he was great about also fixing the cosmetic issues that resulted from the deeper, plumbing issues. My legs look and feel completely different, and I honestly couldn't be any happier about my results. I highly recommend iThrive for treatment of vein reflux, varicose veins, and spider veins. read more
