We ordered some coffee while we waited for our main course. I ordered a plate of shrimp, as well as a pizza with shrimp and italian sausage. The girlfriend ordered a simple cheese pizza. The wait time was a bit longer than expected, but fortunately the wait was well worth it. We also got here in good time, as this place got busy shortly after they took our order. The shrimp plate was delicious, and the pizza was great. Seeing as we were pretty famished, I ate most of the pizza in that sitting. I had two cups of caffe americano afterward to ward off the itis. The place may be small, and the wait may be a little longer, but the food was decent and worth it. The staff is decent, and the place is kept clean and run well.

This was some of the best pizza we've ever had, including Italy! My oldest even commented he was surprised I ate the crust. Short rib ravioli and sausage tagliatelle were both delicious. 4.5 stars - Waiter: helped us make decisions on how much to order and which dishes he recommended. Also was kind to offer a half portion of a few starters so we could try both. - Sommelier: helped us pick from their international wines by the glass-- including some Mexican ones I've never had Midlights: - Dining room: relaxed which I appreciate however with the greenery and mellow music it bordered on sleepy and would've liked a bit more energy. - Not too much on the cocktail menu that appealed to me. Lowlights: - Long delays between courses: 30 min gap between starters and pastas and another 20 before the entree. Then they tried to get us to relocated out of our table at the dessert course like we stayed too long. Was not cause of us. - Problematic neighbor couple; was the wildest thing they just made out the whole time and didn't order food. The staff apologized but could've comped a round of drinks or something...

The wait staff were able to recommend which dishes had hidden and obvious gluten (my niece is gluten intolerant) and which could be switched to gluten free They brought out bread selections of their homemade breads and gluten free bread for my niece, served with local EVOO. The fresh corn tamale with the smoked cream sauce was divine: the lightest, fluffiest masa with fresh corn and mushroom filling with a delicious smokey crema blanketing it. We used our bread to get every bit of the sauce. I had the fresh tagliatelle with morels and liver pate sauce, while my sister had the roast suckling pig entree and my niece had the fresh black cod with beurre blanc sauce (which allowed us to use the bread to soak up the sauce) We finished with surprise dessert from the kitchen, as we had noted in our reservation that we were celebrating birthdays. The staff were welcoming and so kind. Definitely recommend for the food and the locale
