As it is we paid 30EUR per head, for food that was at best mediocre, and at worse unfresh, tired and uninspiring. Frankly TT is lucky I'm still feeling slightly sloppy from the vino bianco, if I was stone cold sober I'd be ringing the manager. The service was enthusiastic, sardonic, vibrant; everything that you'd find in Toscana itself. However, the food looked, tasted and was presented as if it had come off a production line. My gnocchi were overcooked, my 'special' mushroom soup had that gorgeous straight-out-of-the-can taste. The pizza was reasonable, but you can get great pizza for 5EUR in Berlin in equally nice surroundings. Do yourself a favour and give this place a miss. The inside has got a rock and roll kind of vibe, very casual. We were there in the middle of winter, but I can see how eating outside in the summer would also be nice. I ended up ordering the vegan version of the spinach pizza. It was fine, but not particularly amazing (the flavor was just not really there). My husband enjoyed his vegetarian pizza though. I'm not ready to write the place off, because I think I just picked the wrong item to have vegan... so next time I'll go for something more adventurous and hopefully I will walk away craving more.
