KVV operates the tram and bus network in the Karlsruhe vicinity that includes this neighboring city. There are Fahrkarten ("ticket vending machines") at the bus stops or you can purchase it with the KVV app. It's also possible to include a local transportation option when you purchase your Deutsche Bahn regional/international railway ticket. Easy, clean, smooth enough for a bus. My ride was designed to fit a maximum number of people on board rather than people with luggage and such. Thankfully, the 9:00 am bus route was mostly empty so my rollaboard and I fit okay. Good signage onboard indicated where we are and the next stop. I hit the stop request and was off the bus easily.
