Dr. Parthiv Mehta is a con-man and a crook. Please, I beg you to go look at all the 1 star reviews…read morethey try and hide. They also dispute almost all the 1-star reviews as you must have the wrong office, never a patient there, even though they have receipts. The reason you see so many 5-star reviews is on your first visit they are overly nice and then begging you for a 5-star review before you leave the building (don't believe me look for yourself). That is the trap then on following visits is when they start to show their authentic selves screwing you over at every turn. Charm Dental is a perfect name, they charm you, then try to charm all the money out of your bank account. His fake smile is a character, when I was there, he was having a staff meeting and I walked around the corner and he was speaking to them like dogs, which you can see in their faces walking around on eggshells not to set off his rage. We paid 3,600 dollars for 3 hours of anesthesia and were told it was from when my son went under until he woke up. That was a lie they added 2.5 hours to his time by including when the vendor they used showed up and then left. We were not even in the office for 5.5 hours so how could my child be under that long? His work was awful, and we had to keep going back to fix it, so we went to another dentist and paid them $500 dollars to fix Dr. Mehtas' mistakes. We had disputed the amount billed and my wife and I were invited by Dr. Mehta to finalize the bill and come to an agreement (see photo below). Little did we know we were walking into an ambush by a very evil man. I came in good faith to get to the bottom of this, he shuts the door and then begins attacking my wife and I out of nowhere. His fake smile turned into rage as he accused me of being a horrible human, and my wife as an awful mother, which is very bizarre because he does not even know us. He then gets mad that we have great dental insurance which is great for us but not as good for him. He prefers cash pay so he can take advantage of the poor people coming in that have no idea he is about to rob them. Many of the reviews state his dad that was a dentist and treated his patients the same way. One of the most bizarre things in his office is he pulls out his phone and shows us a video of his son with a busted forehead that needed stitches. One it is strange he showed us and filmed it but tells us he made his son do it without pain medication. What type of monster does that to his child and films it, then shows it to people he is yelling at to prove he is some kind of tough guy. This is the same monster that wants to torture his patients and staff. Do yourself a HUGE favor read this and do your own research going over real reviews. I have also made a formal complaint to the Texas Medical Review Board for their investigation. This corruption must be exposed, before he is allowed to keep hurting more people under the guise as a doctor.

But the office's shady billing practices leaves me very uncomfortable. My daughter had an expander placed and has only had 2 follow-up visits. When I checked my insurance, I found 13 claims submitted, with several for dates when my daughter wasn't even seen. I contacted my insurance, and they told me to file a complaint. Lemke initially told me I owed $800+. After I spoke to the insurance company, that amount dropped to $89, which they said was for X-rays my insurance didn't cover. However, my insurance told me Lemke never submitted a claim for those X-rays. Now they took out my daughter's expander and says she needs a retainer. My insurance says retainers are covered, but Lemke is telling me I need to pay cash upfront and submit the claim myself. What concerns me is that a parent could receive a large balance, assume it is correct, and pay it without realizing there may be discrepancies in the insurance claims. Please check your insurance claims and EOBs carefully if you're a patient there. Make sure the dates and services actually match what your child received. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Lemke Orthodontics and would strongly encourage other parents to carefully review their billing. I will be following up with an official complaint with the Texas state board, texas dental association and the attorney general's office.

Very Good Experience and Glad I Got a Second Opinion…read more I had a very good experience with Dr. Yan. She is young, but I was impressed by both her dental skills and her ability to communicate clearly and explain the treatment options. This was a second-opinion visit for me. A few days earlier, I had visited another dentist and was told that I needed deep cleaning with laser phototherapy, which would have cost me more than $2,200 out of pocket after insurance. I'm very glad I came to this office and seen by Dr. Yan. She was able to use the photos and X-rays from my previous visit, and I was able to get the deep cleaning done with an out-of-pocket cost of less than $400 after insurance. The front desk staff was also professional and helpful. The office is on the second floor and was a little difficult to find at first, but everything worked out well. Overall, I had a very positive experience and am glad I came here for a second opinion.

My husband still cooperated and 2 more X-Rays were taken at exactly the same location! However, the tech asked to take another X-Ray, maybe the previous X-Ray images were not satisfied? (she didn't explain and just insisted to re-take again!) My husband was upset since 3 total X-Rays were already taken (including before cleaning and after), he said he didn't want to take another X-Ray, maybe he increased his voice a little, all of a sudden, Dr. Wang rushed out of his office and yelled at my husband! This was really unacceptable!!! The tech's skill is bad, the dentist has bad manner and they don't care about their patients!

Because Dr. George Liu is everything a perfect dentist should be. Some of you have been following my dental saga last couple of years. Here is how it continued. I ventured out to the other side of Dun Huang Plaza. I wandered into a dentist office next to Cafe 101 at building A. I remember my first memorable impression as I was greeted by a friendly hygienist named Jennie. She understood my needs and condition. In a few days, I met Dr. Liu on my initial consultation. I felt very comfortable with their practice in patient care. In the next few months, my immediate need was met to replace the fallen crown. I appreciate how this husband-wife team took good care of me. They worked with my insurance and prepared a timely treatment plan. Also, their office hours work with my schedule - dentist is available from Monday thru Saturday. I could finally get my dental implant done on my day off. One big plus here is simple staffing. Unlike other dental offices I've been to, everyone knows everything or someone would get back to me promptly. Because they are highly efficient, my wait time is usually less than 2 minutes (before I could turn a page on any newspaper). I see their customers are Asian. But don't be shy; they also speak English, beside Mandarin Chinese and Shanghainese. First Central Dental has the latest dental technology and Dr. George Liu has the superior skill to make my life better. The following is for Chinese audience as it's not a translated review: 我很滿意我的牙醫 - 劉醫生。中興牙科服務一流，價格公道。非常值得信賴。

The hygienist was very thorough, they cleaned her teeth and polish them. Even I, being her daughter, saw a difference between her teeth before the appointment and after the appointment. I am very impressed with the hygienist at this location. After getting her teeth cleaned, the dentist closed her fillings. My mom was very pleased with the work. She was so thankful that this office was not trying to sell her on things that she did not need to get done. While they did mention her need for a crown, they did not sell her on any ancillary charges or bogus treatments for her teeth. My mom hates going to the dentist. And she doesn't like the dental field because she feels that they're very pushy and the make up charges or work without very much proof. But she was so pleased with this dental office, she couldn't stop stop sharing her experience with me. she's looking forward to her next visit in six months.

UPDATE: I went and sought out a 2nd opinion...since Fort bend Dental Aliana didn't want to help me…read morethe same day...This new dentist evaluated Dr. Barrata's work...it wasn't the adhesive that was the issue....Barrata didn't cut real tooth enough for crown to sit on with good grip...so crown has a wabble effect and caused the crown to fall off.....it wasn't the adhesive...it's that the tooth that the crown sits on wasn't cut small enough for the. -- Initially I thought it was a good place, I only got tooth cleaning done. So, I provided a good review. It takes time to get to know how this organization operates. I had to go back in for a tooth issue where I needed a crown. This is when I started realizing they are not doing something correct. Vinny Barrata is assigned to me as my dentist, he seemed like he knows what he is doing. Anyways, he worked on a tooth of mine..he shaved off the cracks and sized it to set a crown on. Initially had a temporary crown for a couple of weeks while I waited to get my new crown. The problems began after getting my new crown. Note: I have experience with 4 other crowns now been set in my mouth for over 5 years. But the crown that Dr. Barrata did, first try the crown that Barrata set, it popped out in two weeks. I had to go back. Second time, Barratta put a new crown in popped out in 11 months, so I went back recently, Barrata again worked on it...I told him I thought it was the adhesive. But he chose to go the route of using a backup crown that he ordered, and put it on...he still chose to use old adhesive and new crown.. Personally, i told him if he's using the same adhesive, I don't think it will fix it...later the same day in the evening I was having dinner, just eating rice and it popped out again...that's 3 times a crown popped out worked on my tooth by Dr. Barrata. I called the Aliana dental folks asking for help today and they rejected to help me stating Barratta is at another office and the dentist Lana on site cannot assist...so basically saying to me that you need to wait for Dr. Barrata...while I suffer with a jagged tooth. This company operates like a ma and pop shop. The help who was assigned to my case, I found that Dr. Barratta was letting her shave the new crown. I asked the help are you dentist...cuz I was like why is she shaving my tooth...shouldn't a licensed professional be shaving my tooth....she was not a licensed profession...she was Barrata's help basically...when I accused her of not being a dentist...that's immediatly when Barrata stepped it. What I discovered is these dentists that work here 100% empower help/unlicesend folks to pick up some of the work dentists should ideally be doing. Immidiatly Barrata started working on my tooth after I accused the non licensed person of not being a dentist and why she was working on my crown saving and shaping....so messed up. Anyways, same day after Barrata put in a new crow FOR THE 2nd time, he cannot get it right the first time apparantly...same evening a 3rd time my crown fell out while eating rice. I called next morning to get appointment...they were forcing me to wait another day to work with Dr. Barrata...and they kept saying they want to use the same adhesive...but here I am struggling with the back of my toungue cutting up against a shaved tooth since there is no crown....they make me suffer until Barrata gets back to the Richmond location from the Rosenburg location...they asked me to go to the Rosenberg location...but the office manager asked me...I said I cannot, I work from home and they seem to not understand that I have work...going back for fallen crown repeatedly is unaccepted...3 times worked on my by Barrata..I had to go back...they do care I'm sufferring..would not let me see the other dentist on site named Lana. Anyways, I am never going back to this location.....they are kind of getto...and will be advising folks to stay clear of this dental organization going forth. Barrata doesn't know how to keep a crown glued on past 11 months in my experience. Buyer be aware is all.
