Kimberley & Katrina are former professional ballerinas dedicated to concise, well executed movement with an eye on safety and avoiding injury. Beautiful studio with state of the art equipment. I recommend them frequently & without hesitation. Convenient hours for group and private training.

I joined for an…read moreunlimited monthly program to try to get back into exercise after a knee replacement and plain old too much sitting-around-ness, and what I found was so much more: a truly welcoming and empowering place to experience personalized instruction. No class routine is the same. Each instructor plans their lessons and adapts the moves to each client in their (limited size) classes. New to me, and I'm very excited about: Reformer Pilates (reformer, tower, cardio jumpboard, mat and mixed equipment to name a few of the class "styles"), Yamuna Ball Rolling, Gyrokinesis and Gyrotonics. Maybe in another month I'll be ready to try one of the Barre classes that Jennifer Stinson teaches. Jennifer is a fun and motivational teacher who also teaches several of the Pilates Reformer classes, and she's gotten to know me and my capabilities well. I'm falling in love again with Yoga, lead by the awesome Virginia Logan. If my health/wellness negatively changes, I wouldn't hesitate to sign up for 1:1 private instruction classes to get me back to my best self. There's so much more for me to experience and explore in this studio... so much more that I just signed up for a year of classes!

My review of BodyBarre is past due! I am so happy to have been told about this place! Each…read moreinstructor, each class, each visit -- wow. BodyBarre is such a welcoming and happy studio! The instructors are well-versed in each of their low-impact, workout-exercise forms. I've attended Pilates mat, Mat Lengthen, Signature Barre (combo Pilates & barre & yoga), Define (oooh, baby!), Fly (silks) yoga, Flow (yoga), BB Bliss, BB Burn (ohhhhh, baby, baby!) and many of the 45 min. afternoon classes and 60 min. evening classes. I also took a Salty Yoga in the Salt Revival salt room! The only classes I haven't tried are those crack-of-dawn ones. Sending power to those ladies who workout before I'm awake! I am not, and have never been a ballet dancer. I am three months into classes at BodyBarre, and I can say that I am stronger, more balanced, and feeling better - because I'm moving small and large muscles during these workouts. BodyBarre is for ALL bodies, ALL ages. This is a place that truly welcomes, and encourages everyone. I would recommend anyone thinking of adding a little, or little more, or a lot of cardio to take a few BodyBarre classes at your own pace. For me, it was time to discover that I could do more for my health by adding some cardio in a fun, supportive studio. Locally owned, too! Paige, Samantha, Anita, Megan, Avery, Cassidy, Rani, Leilani, Sarah and Lori - you are incredible, and I'm so glad that you are sharing your passion for health and fitness with us!

Paige & Estella infuse me with energy! I had never been to a real barre class before (just Youtube…read morepilates videos for me), and I had thought that my routine had been sufficient for about four years throughout university. However! In class, the instructor gently adjusts you to have lovely form and proper technique, which really makes a difference in how refreshing my workouts feel afterwards (apparently careless technique when I did pilates on my own sometimes just sort of left me feeling drained after my workouts). Having to pay attention elegant technique makes pilates from more than an isolated sweatfest during the day, and makes it seep into other parts of my life -- i.e. I've started getting compliments on my posture by my mother (the ultimate accomplishment). It's not too difficult for those just beginning -- the instructors seemlessly transition from warmup to sweatbreaking moves to cooldown. On the other hand it's quite quite sufficient for those wanting a good workout, and I've been satisfyingly sore from their classes many a time.

Small gym/studio located in a small business park. Manuela has electronic treadmill, cardio stair stepper, a recumbent cycle and a speed cycle for use, as well as a full set of dumbbells, bars, plate weights and weight machines. She also has 6 Pilate Reformer machines. The week is broken out to Pilates day or Weights/personal trainer day. If it's a Pilates day, then it's Pilates classes all day long. Same goes for weights/trainer days. On Pilates day, you are in there with up to 5 other people plus Manuela, or less. On weights/trainer days it's either, you and Manuela, or you and up to two other people and Manuela. Bottom line - small classes with personal attention. Manuela is fun, dedicated, and here to get you feeling better about yourself. I have done the Pilates Reformer classes and the personal weight training with her for now about 2 years. Last season I even had her customize some of the training to help me with some of the Enduro Mountain Bike racing I needed. We focused on a lot of balance and upper body. The results are great and I'm happy with all my progression. Note: there is no membership fee. It's pay per class - what you DO and with how many people influences the price, Manuela will explain. And...there is ZERO pressure, and very little of, supplements or powders that you "NEED" to buy. She has some ADVO Care, but the focus here is the exercise. If you need nutrition, Manuela can do that, just talk with her and she'll set you up. Call her to book your free assessment for personal training or Pilates Reformer classes. I am glad I did. Highly recommended. This is a jewel of a gym in the Near Northwest area with an outstanding trainer.
