This Aldi is much better than the one in El Centro. Vegetables and fruits were fresh and plentiful, very nice looking meat and lots of product in the clearance/miscellaneous aisle. The checkers are very friendly and polite. As with anything in Calexico it will be much easier to interact and ask questions if you are speaking Spanish. She asks the caller to state the reason to speak with the manager, then she asks the caller if they're family or a customer to the manager. That woman is unbelievable, un professional, rude, nosey. Ultimately, the caller is left on hold over 15 minutes, or deliberately hung up on. This crusty tortilla of a woman is utterly, unfit to be the face of walmart calexico, let alone any major entity. I have canceled my walmart membership and now after I go and get my refund I'm f*****g done with walmart calexico.

It may sound costly, but you will never want any other carne asada in the entire WORLD. After cooking this meat on the grill many, many times, I've realized that I have never found any other carne asada that comes close to this meat in quality, tenderness, or flavor anywhere. It is amazing and well worth the price you pay for it. Try $3/lb carne and $6/lb carne and you'll definitely taste the difference. That is, unless you've been drinking all afternoon before you ate... in which case, everything magically tastes great and you'd probably be too inebriated to make any sort of judgment at all. Kennedy's Market and their alleged "best carne asada in Imperial Valley" will never compare to El Sol's carne asada. Ever. It's one of very few things I miss about the Valley.
