This place have great food. I haven't eaten there in a while, but I bought food before and it was yummy.

$10 Chicken Curry rice.Looked great and was served piping hot but the instant curry mix and the chicken seemed to have just met!

The lunch buffet has a nice mixture of salads, various curries with chicken, lamb, goat, and fish. Delicious for those rare cooler days in SoFlo. Sadly, the flavors were just not here for us. We ordered 2 types of pakoras, a lamb biryani, and plain dosa. The pakoras were not your typical street style, they both looked more like chicken tenders. They were soft, and had a ok taste. The biriyani honestly lacked all the flavors of a biriyani. It was very bland, and extremely mild, not a hint of spice anywhere! It was more of a seasoned rice than an authentic tasting biryani. I didn't try the dosa, but my friend did an he didn't even have more than 2 small bites. According to him, the sambal it came with was very flavorless, and the dosa was dry, too crispy (like chips!) rather then a soft layer. Coming from Indians, this sadly won't be a spot we reorder from or visit anytime soon.

Smiling faces at the door a welcoming hello will take you to a table of your choice. Get there early the place does fill up, especially on the weekends. Why ..... because the food here will never fail you. Many Asian restaurants the food all taste the same. This will never happen here. It is admirable that each dish is unique and true to its recipe. If you have ever tried to cook Indian food, you know how difficult it is to get the perfect blend for the perfect taste. These guys have out done themselves. Whatever is missing on your table, a chutney, more Nan, more rice, etc.... Is very easy to get service and served. There is a continuous flow of support staff and waiters walking through the restaurant, checking and double checking on the patrons desires. A fantastic place to come with a large group of people, very friendly and giving staff when you come with children. Again, the place will not fail you. I highly recommend that you try this restaurant because of the quality of the food and the service. Tell me how you like it.

Although not inexpensive for lunch, it included drinks and naan bread, a salad bar, soup, vegetarian and meat entrees, and two desserts. So, we thought it was worth the price. There was parking right outside the restaurant in the lot. This wasn't hard to find following the yelp directions. Inside were both tables and booths. They were quite busy on a Saturday afternoon. I skipped over the fresh salad bar and the spinach soup. I did try their sweet tamarind sauce which I liked. And I gave the yogurt sauce to my husband. I tried one of the two rice options first. It turned out to be quite spicy so next trip to the buffet, I got their plainer rice. I liked the cauliflower and potatoes (again as it wasn't spicy); Liked the mushrooms and cabbage, but it was oh so peppery that I couldn't finish it. There were a lot of vegetarian options. Then there were three "meat" options -- a chicken tikka masala with white meat chicken pieces; a fish stew; and a tandoori chicken. I tried and liked all the meat options. I tried their hot chai -- the milky Indian tea. It was good. I couldn't try their fruit punch as I was told it had mango in it. And I was too full for dessert -- the dough balls in syrup and a version of rice pudding. The staff cleared the finished plates regularly. They also were good about refilling water glasses. We were told the buffet options change daily. This was a good way to sample a number of their dishes. Especially for those folks new to Indian cuisine. And there were more than enough choices to satisfy most people along with the naan bread brought to the table. We have some vegetarian friends, too, that we know would love this place.

The outdoor dining area was gorgeous, but too hot to dine outside. We proceeded to eat inside. The bathroom was extremely clean- my only recommendation would be to add toilet seat covers. As soon as we sat down, we were greeted very kindly and the menu was explained to us, all while the signature, popular dishes were brought to our attention. We ordered some drinks (Dirty Chai and the Bollywood Old Fashioned (not pictured)) which were phenomenal. The bartender had a heavy hand, which is always appreciated by a Las Vegas local. Our appetizers were brought fairly quickly & enjoyed almost immediately. The eggplant dish had a kick to it. The Brussels sprouts were extremely tasty. There were about four to five different flavors dancing on our tongues. The fish was phenomenal and was served in a banana leaf. It did not even taste like fish. The Bharlivangi had an interesting flavor & was very unique. Butter chicken is always a great go to at any Indian restaurant because of the mix of flavors. The duck was amazing and the sauce and soft egg it was accompanied by was perfectly paired. The desserts were extraordinary. We didn't even know if we could order dessert because we were so full... then we saw the menu and knew we couldn't pass up the opportunity. The golab Jamun was the perfect hot temperature, doughy and flavorful. It paired perfectly with the ice cream. Jude, our server, was very attentive and kind. I am usually hesitant when the server recommends the signature items on the menu (the fish and Bharlivangi), but we were not disappointed at ALL. I hope he is our server in every lifetime. I do not have enough nice things to say about him, his service and demeanor. Overall a phenomenal experience and I will ensure this restaurant is on my itinerary each time I visit West Palm Beach.

Not only is the food THE BEST, but the service and presentation of the food is equally outstanding! If you are on the hunt for some very flavorful food that still upholds high quality, standards, and freshness, India bar and grill is where it's at! I still remember the first time I ever came to this restaurant. India Bar and Grill definitely fits the situation of "Don't judge a book by its cover." Although the outside of the building has a more casual atmosphere, the interior and service matches that of a very upscale/Fine dining restaurant. We have always been treated with the utmost hospitality and respect every time we came here! The owner Soy is always so welcoming, accommodating, and friendly! He is an absolute pleasure to work with! They also do a phenomenal job as caterers! If you are looking for someone to cater your next event or wedding, this is place for you! The food is a solid 6/5! Everything from their vegetarian/Non-vegetarian dishes all the way their desserts and drinks are all amazing! They have a lot or vegetarian options that are very unique and taste equally as good as the non-vegetarian options! Every dish comes out so beautifully too that it is almost too sad to dig into, but the aroma is just too good to pass up! Can't wait to come back soon for more amazing food!
