The place is right on the beach which made us pick it…read more Getting to the hotel was a bit frustrating since there aren't any left hand turn lanes, so had to do a turn around in a neighborhood to get to the other side of the street. Parking is very small in front of the hotel but there is a lot in the lower level. Lower level kind of creepy looking and dark/dingy. Checking in was easy and the staff was nice. Water jug is by the lobby for a quick drink. Love the vibe of the hotel - retro but updated and colorful. We got an oceanfront view on the third floor, so palm trees were blocking our view. So if you get oceanfront, then try to get a floor that's higher than three. If you are on the southwest side you hear the music of Bongos restaurant until 11p each night. There was a nice balcony attached to the room, but the air conditioner unit was blowing hot air while you were sitting. You are able to have your porch door open and ac running at the same time. Fan in the room was nice. Shutters are a classy touch but windows themselves are old. The toilet in the room was bubbling throughout our stay, so the bathroom had a gross smell. The toilet pressure was horrible, and there were hard water marks all over the shower. Complimentary snow cones on Saturdays from 1-2p at the St. Pete Social in lobby. They are small but a nice gesture. Bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. Nice to have a refrigerator in the room. Towels for the pool and beach were constantly restocked. Never was a pile of old towels either. Maintenance folks were really on it. One guy was touchup painting the hallways, while another guy was cleaning the rugs to get rid of the sand. Get to the beach early to rent your cabana or chairs. You can hold your cabana for a few hours but if you don't come back then you lose it. There is a volleyball court and some other beach games. You can order food and drink from your cabana and it comes from the attached hotel restaurant, Bongos (their food isn't great). Spinners restaurant, level 11, and the St Pete Social in the lobby are all worth checking out for food. Skip bongos though, being on the beach is nice but their food is subpar. The water and beach is amazing and that is what you are paying for. The pool area is nice and has loungers and other seating areas to relax.

The beds were so plush. We slept like a dream. TV in every room. You have a backdoor that lends to the pool patio. There are seating tables provided. The hotel had plenty of parking. For each unit you can fit 3 cars. Fully stocked with beach towels. Lovely kitchen and living room space. We loved that the beach was directly across the street from our villas. 30 second walk to the beach. We spent alot of time in the pool that was provided. We used the outside grill almost every night. Such a lovely, cozy stay. We already rebooked for next labor day 2021 *there isn't any one on site. You let yourself in the room with a passcode. You have to text or call for assistance. Which was not a problem because the owners responded back very quickly. P.S: book early for holidays. This places sells out fast....also, I saw a bad review posted about bed bugs. We didn't have any problems with bugs. They keep this place pretty clean and in great condition.

Each and every family had their own "bungalow" unit. The units were spacious, clean, well decorated and well supplied. The kitchens had everything we could need to cook a meal, the bathrooms were stocked with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. We didn't need to bring anything with us but our food, swimsuits and sunscreen. One of my favorite touches was the high quality, super soft sheets on the beds. I wished I could take them home with me! In the center of the property is a sparkling clean pool and even a deck box filled with toys and floats for the kids. That courtyard area also contains several propane BBQs and nice patio tables. We had many large family meals in the courtyard and used the BBQs. Directly across the street is the beach. We spent many hours walking the beach, collecting shells and swimming. Every evening we would go to the beach to watch the sunset. The property is located close to John's Pass, where we spent time shopping, dining at restaurants, riding wave runners, and parasailing. Our entire extended family loved this location so much that we plan to meet back there again next year. Hopefully, we will become part of the "regulars" who vacation at Blue Waters each and every year!

The outdoor pool was crystal clear and inviting! The motel is a minute walk across the street to the gulf beach!!!! Lots of nice restaurants within walking distance! The price for the room was very reasonable considering it is pretty much on the most beautiful beach in the world!! If you're looking for a nice place to stay in Florida that won't break the bank.... I like that I don't have to pack my own beach chairs for the weekend trip, I can borrow theirs. There is also always something fun going on nearby and the use of their bicycles is a nice little perk too. There is a kitchenette which makes it nice for keeping some drink and snacks on hand. I typically bring the breakfast goods so that we can eat in the morning and hit the beach which is literally just across the two-laned street. LOVE THAT! We often have lunch in the room too so that we can hit the beach again after everyone rests for a bit and then dinner out and about! The atmosphere, as I said, is nothing fancy. The venue is what I believe used to be a home, that has been split into ten rooms and was built waaaay back. It's really kind of cool if you like the old architecture and the common areas on the premises are nice and convenient. It's beachy. I did worse places when we were in college, traveling with no $$, trust me on this! It's CHEAP for waterfront lodging. Pass-A-Grille is a cool little town! I've come here on and off for almost 25 years, back when the rooms were $40 a night.
