I had purchased a pair of Born low cut boots over 10 years ago and sadly they needed to go to shoe heaven-but could not take the leap. We'll Step Outside had the same shoe only a newer model. She even gave me 25% off as it was their last pair. They are so comfortable. They carry unique brands and although they are a bit pricy it is well worth it since they are unique, last a long, long time and are timeless. Thank you and thank you Christie for remembering me!

Saw this place on google, so I gave them a call before I took the trek to Anacortes and she had the most perfect pair of roller skates for me. It's a fantastic location and the impact it will have for kids and teens and adults being able to get outside, get exercise and fresh air and socialization can't be overstated. It's beautifully designed and an amazing spot so close to the waterfront. Thank you to everyone who supported this project and to the amazing folks at Trinity Skate who fought for something that will benefit this community for decades to come. When we give kids and teens healthy and safe 3rd places to meet, be active, socialize and have FUN, that's how we help them become healthy, well rounded humans. Our communities desperately need places for kids to thrive and move and just BE. What a fantastic park. There was literally something for everyone in here - men, women, kids, even pets. The selection of items was masterfully curated and included everything from clothing and shoes to books and kitchenware. I definitely see myself heading here next time I need a special gift for someone. (Or even for my own darned self!) The prices were, of course, a little higher due to the La Conner/tourist factor, but the quality of the items was high as well.

I was recently in Anacortes and spotted a brand new (to me) thrift shop. So, of course, I had to…read morestop in! What a cute little place. They have pretty much everything - from kitchen items and clothes, to books, tools, art, and even some small furniture items. They also have a small vintage section full of glass and other decor items. Prices, in general, were a little on the high side - though I supposed that describes most stores these days. I started in the kitchen area, where I picked up a couple of knick knacks for my travel trailer. Then I headed to what was a pretty impressive tool section. Although most of the tools were in pretty rough shape, and on the electric items there was no indication as to whether they'd been tested or not. I also checked out the books and, of course, the surprisingly thorough sewing and craft section. I ended with a trip through the very large clothing section, where I also noticed they have quite a great selection of interesting artwork too. Checkout was kinda weird, as there were extra employees (or maybe they were just friends of employees?) hanging out at the cashier area gossiping. I actually had to sort of make my presence known, even though I was the only customer in the shop. It felt awkward, like I was interrupting a private conversation. Kinda weird! I'll probably stop back next time I'm in Anacortes, as it seems like the kind of place that's probably regularly getting some interesting items on their shelves. Maybe the cashier's chit-chatty friends will have gone home by then.

My husband has pretty shaggy hair and beard and we are younger, I'm not sure what the problem was with us. My husband almost bought a pair of shoes from there but thankfully he didn't because after that horrible service I would never support this business.
