Be prepared to pay over $600 on orthotics, cream, tape and wraps over the normal insurance billed…read morefees. At first I was excited about the chance to get PT help with someone focused only on feet. I was put off by her irritation that she had to message and minipulate both my feet!, she complained about this more than once. Sorry but both feet were sore. When I last saw her she told me that people when they are old have sore feet. "Haven't you noticed how old people stand up slowly?", she said. I'm 65 and this was the last straw and the last visit. Later I found a good PT person who recognized that I needed to stretch and exercise my whole body so I could walk relaxed. This along with feet exercises finally helped. I had no relief from Walk of Life. Secondly she recommended custom made orthotics, this was $485 and she would not bill insurance for this. I never could wear these orthotics, instead I bought some on Amazon for $28 and they worked much better. Also I had to buy some cream at a custom pharmacy so she could do something do my feet. The cream was about $85 and was of no use to me other than with her machine. Next she recommended I buy special tape and wrapping material, another expense. UGGH

Very knowledgeable, afterwards he taught me a good deep stretch to do at morning+night and an abdomen massage to help w my digestion/ constipation. I plan on continuing sessions while training for a half marathon to stay tuned up. I was debating going to a spa or chiropractor but instead I'm so glad I found Massage works on yelp. As you can imagine I was well overdue for a good massage. But I didn't have to settle for a good massage because, by going to MassageWorks, I got a supercalifragilsticexpealidociously wonderful massage! I could add more adjectives here - I know plenty of them - but to give you the clearest idea of how wonderful this experience was I'll just add that at various points during the 60 minute session I believe I actually purred. If you want to do yourself a wonderful favor, book a massage here.

My visits to Dr. Cox started because of a very painful bicycle knee injury; I had been assigned to traditional physical therapy which actually seemed to make it worse. In desperation and upon a recommendation (I had always distrusted chiropractors), I tried Dr. Cox. What a blessing! After only a few treatments, the painful knee was completely set right, I could not believe it. Then I asked him to tackle my chronic back pain. Over a few sessions, I saw a 60% improvement; I then I took up Pilates regularly (with Cindy Gabriel at activelifepilates.com) and the combined effect was such that I now live mostly pain free which is amazing in itself. The best part is that I only go see Dr. Cox when I overstress my back, which happened recently because I lugged a much too heavy bag on my shoulder all the way across the airport). I can't stress enough how much Dr.Cox has helped me, is helping me, and I don't have to go every week. Now it's occasional, which is amazing to me.
