we stayed at The Fish Bowl , the house was great for a family of ten on Spring Break ! the grandchildren had a blast fishing, kayaking and playing in the pool. My only complaint was that the pool got kind of " funky and cloudy "...... the outside screens were in rough shape too . But, that being said , the house was very clean and well maintained. We stayed at Coco Plum Paradise, the house and property were as advertised. Amazing week, perfect location for family with a boat. Plenty of parking for boat trailer. Easy in/Easy out, easy access to gulf via Vaca Cut. Straight shot out the creek to Coffins Patch. The entire staff at Island Breeze go over the top to ensure you enjoy a relaxing experience. I would give this property 10 stars if I could, will be booking again. The cost for what you get in the property is more than reasonable. read more

PROS: The house was beautifully set up, the beds very comfortable and roomy. The pool is large & perfect for large groups. Kept the kids entertained during down times. Plenty of room that you were not on top of each other. All in all a great house. Plenty of parking for 5 vehicles and one very large boat trailer, just have to be strategic. The Reason for the 3 Stars. CONS : In light of Covid and the extra precautions everyone is taking, Island Breeze Rentals changed their check-in time & out so the could thoroughly clean the house thus giving them an extra 2 hours ( 8 hours in total) Upon our arrival we inspected the house first and here is what we found. The freezer was dirty from prior renters and the master bath toilet was broken & sideways. So maintenece and a maid came out, but prior to our thorough look. Normally we would not worry, but with covid we were a little more cautious. We ended up having to completely clean all the fridge pulls inside as the drawers were dirty with food. The kitchen floor had something spilled on it. There is burnt rice and black beans all in the oven drawer, which at first we thought was rat poop. A couple of the kitchen cabinets had stuff dripped down them so we had to wipe them down. Oh and the ac return, the ac return filter has not been changed in MONTHS! The cushions on the seats at kitchen island and dining room bar are filthy and were not washed. We removed them and put them in the laundry room. The pool was very low on water and the solar pool heater was on ( in the dead of summer) so the pool was not enjoyable for 3 days. The hot tub was legit green, smelled terrible and would not heat at all the entire week. Pool guy did come out and drain the hot tub so we were able to at least cool off in it. Yes, we cooled off in the hot tub! The fake grass by the pool area gets "extremely" hot, as well as, the steps into the pool so wear your shoes. And to top it off Code Enforcement had to come inspect the house on our vacation at 9 am forcing us off the property. They need a new cleaning crew that actually cleans especially during Covid-19. read more

We were charged a $1,500 deposit for our rental and the property was advertised with a garage as an amenity. At 5pm, we were given our code to the house and then received a subsequent text that due to the impending "possible" tropical storm, they had secured light furniture, hammocks, grills, and umbrellas and would keep us posted of changes. When we arrived, they had removed every piece of outdoor furniture on the ground floor so there is no way to even enjoy the outside, which is the primary reason for this rental. As we checked in on a Saturday and the storm (NOT A HURRICANE) is not projected to even POTENTIALLY come by until early Monday morning, we called the office to request they put the furniture back out until Sunday night in order for us to at least enjoy the weekend. Not only were they unwilling to accommodate, they also advised that since they had so many properties, they had to start the process early to get everything done. To make matters worse, they also couldn't advise when they would be able to put anything back out. Their lack of adequate staff shouldn't impact the vacation and amenities that were offered and paid for. We then asked for a partial credit in the event that we wouldn't have access to the amenities for several days to which they also refused. Since they have homeowners insurance as well as a 1,500 deposit from me, this should have more then covered any incidental damage. Their VRBO listing also advertised a garage which we were told we do not have access to. The lights on the back patio don't work and there was food left in the refrigerator from the last renters, although we are also paying a $450 cleaning fee and weren't allowed to check in until after 5pm. I would not recommend this property management company to ANYONE looking to vacation in the Keys for their rigidity and unwillingness to accommodate their guests, especially given the fact we paid $5,000 for this weekly rental. read more

I have never had such a terrible experience!!! We had RATS in the house and the living conditions were completely intolerable! When calling this company about the rat problem they sent an exterminator but did NOTHING to help move us to another property or offer ANY sort of compensation for the issues we faced. Gina (the owner) said we could leave if we were not satisfied but we would not get any money back! When talking to the office manager, Scott, he made it clear by his lack of concern that this was a normal occurrence for the company. The exterminator removed at least 10 rats from the property while we were there and said it was the worst he has ever seen!!! We had to have the cleaning company come out to clean the floors the day we got there since they made our feet black. There was dust an inch thick on the ceiling fans and we didn't have cable (as advertised) the entire week. See pictures for more details!! My husband and I honeymooned at 4-Keys-To-Paradise and we absolutely loved it!!! So perfect! We cooked most of our meals in house bc we really just loved being there at the very new and very beautiful and relaxing home away from home! The view was indescribable waking up oceanside and hanging out at the pool or under the sun in a lounge chair was the perfect way to unwind from all our wedding stress. When we did go out we enjoyed several local restaurants that we look forward to enjoying again at our next visit. We even took one day to drive to Miami just to say we've been! We are most definitely renting a boat or jet skis next time, we were so jealous of some of the people we saw out there cruising across the ocean! It was a great experience and the perfect honeymoon spot but next time we really want to take some friends along too! There's plenty of space for multiple couples and it would be a blast to have our friends there to play volleyball on the sand volleyball court and then cool off in the pool. There's even an outdoor shower! read more
