Even though…read morethe weather wasn't completely on our side, Kathy and Heidi truly went above and beyond to make sure our time on the water was the best it could possibly be. One completely unintentional and unexpected highlight was getting to interact with dolphins as they swam right around our boat. It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Kathy immediately recognized how special this moment could be for us and she made sure to capitalize on it in a way only a true captain could. She made sure we got the opportunity to fully take this in...something we will never forget! From start to finish, they were thoughtful, attentive, and incredibly accommodating. Every detail was considered, and they took such great care to make sure the kids had the absolute best time. It was clear how much they genuinely care about creating meaningful, memorable experiences for families. We couldn't recommend Family Fun Boat Tour Co more highly. If you're visiting Islamorada, especially with kids, this is an absolute must. We will definitely be back!

It was like having a local family member taking you out for the day. Whatever we wanted to do he knew just where to go. We visited the sandbar, so we could say we did it. We plan to use his service again when we visit Key Largo again. If you are looking for a great day don't look any farther.

He was so quick to answer all my questions and is so knowledgeable on the entire area. He was amazing from start to finish-- showed us so many areas and shared the history of pretty much everything we saw. We saw sharks, a sting ray, grouper fish, a ton of fish, barracuda's, and more! He was so amazing that he even brought stuff for us to snorkel with and has a great recommendation list on what to bring with you to make everything be as smooth as possible. We cannot wait to come back and bring the kiddos next time! Merv you were an absolute GEM and we can't wait to see you again!!!! 100000% worth every penny spent. He was very accommodating in finding a day and time that worked for us, very hospitable, and had a great personality! Charlie texts you several times before the boat day, to make sure directions on everything are clear- I really appreciated receiving the EXACT directions with pictures and precise details. His "Tiki Tiki" boat was brand new and beautiful, and I enjoyed bringing our own drinks and snacks on the boat (he parks next to a food boat, if you'd rather buy food). The sandbar was a lot of fun, and Charlie brought many toys for us to play with on the water (kayak, rafts, beer pong table, noodles, etc). Definitely enough equipment to keep you busy for the day! The sandbar was a bit busy (even on a weekday), but he tried to find us an area where no one was blaring their music, so we could play our own. Charlie took several pictures and videos for us that he emailed us later in the week. I really enjoyed having all those, in addition to mine. Only constructive criticism I have, would be that I booked a half day "tour", and had mentioned going snorkeling and doing the catch/release of baby sharks. I was under the impression that was all set up as the plan for the day. However, we went straight to the sandbar and spent the day there; little bit of a letdown as we wanted to do other activities as well- other than that it was a great day! The water was clear, we saw some fish (and lots of dogs), and the weather was perfect- we had a great day with Captain Charlie!

Every fishing hole he took us to was great, my family and I were constantly getting snags and catching fish. Tim never stopped taking our fish, measuring them, teaching us what they were and if we could keep them, what was the best techniques, and every opportunity he had he baited our hooks. He must have loaded 100 hooks for my family alone. He took us to great snorkeling places and showed us the best spots to go too around the lighthouse and coral heads. He was very knowledgeable of what fish to look for and what we needed to stay away from. Lastly he took us to a great spot for sunset. When we got back to the docks he filtered our fish for us and was very helpful about choosing a great dinner spot to cook our fish for us. I whole heartedly recommend this company to anyone and everyone. I recommend the 8hr trip at the least. Its an experience of a lifetime that can only be enhanced by a great guy/captain like Tim.
