The waffle "filled" guava cream cheese was really one small waffle cut in half and in the middle the cream cheese guava spread, hmmm not what I saw in the pics and reviews... Service: One person servicing all tables, looking tired and annoyed to be there. Had to ask for sugar, spoon and ketchup but it's all good she was very pleasant and accommodating. Still loved the fresh made bread is what made the 2 egg meal amazing. The bacon not so great. Price: The prices were fair! So that's why it gets 4 stars! read more

Great owner/operator who had been in business for the past nine years. Very clean restaurant with great choices for breakfast. I had the pull pork Benedict. My wife had a veggie omelet that was stuffed with seasonal vegetables. Located just a few yards away from the Rincon of the Seas resort hotel and a twenty minute walk from downtown Rincon. YELP never disappoints while on vaca! Isla is a must visit while in RINCÓN. We got there right when it opened, and sat down immediately as we were the first ones in, we had a party of 8. I reccommend arriving early or your in for a wait. The señora server was amazing as she was the only one taking care of everyone. We sat down and twenty minutes later the place was packed. Everything was made fresh and brought out hot. The Full Bar looked to have the cure for everything you might or might not want to be feeling. Lol! Enjoy! read more

Wonderful experience. The owners are gems. Their menu and food quality is excellent. Must order a Bloody Mary even if a virgin one. Good employees are always hard to come by but they do a great job at checking in on everyone to ensure a good time is had. Cute art and typical Puerto Rican uniforms. read more

INCREDIBLE! If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would! I have eaten here twice and both times got the crab cake benedict. We also ordered the cream cheese guava waffle to share and OMG it was incredible. I always try what my husband gets and his meal was amazing both times. I was so excited to eat here until I saw the sous chef sneeze on my food. I returned the plate, waiting for a new order which was served to me cold, of course I didn't eat it. I seriously believe that it was done with great intention to ruin my brunch. I was greatly disappointed that they treated me a 100 % Boricua, native resident to this Island as a 2nd class citizen. The server didn't mention the specials to me until she noticed me looking over to the nearby table and grasped the idea that I understood her conversation with the other customers. Then she had no choice but to come over and suggest to us the same specials. Never again will I visit this so-called restaurant. I'm a true foodie, and I'm glad Puerto Rico has so many other delicious restaurants around the Island. read more

This place was AMAZING. If I have *one* complaint it's that it's hard to find. There's a picture outside, but no restaurant storefront! We drove past it-TWICE. It's a picture of a palm tree, so look for that in the plaza where it's located. Food is WONDERFUL, and people are *so* friendly. I had the corned beef hash, and my partner had the special. Eat them either so we got me corn chips with beans corn and lots of avocado on top and a fabulous sauce.. if I could eat this everyday! So April 4th we go after church and have a real nice brunch everything was great. Loved my salmon eggs benedict. I then see the cook when I was inside verbally abusing a customer and I was like ouche that doesn't look Good so the customer and his family remained so I dont think about it! Today when we went with a reservation I could see how the staff did not seem happy more like a frown on their faces. I ordered the sausage burrito with bacon which is extra. I get my burrito and I had to search for the bacon. I flagged down the server and server comes back saying extra bacon was put on. I said please don't make me take my food apart to show you I dont have what I paid extra for. So my extra bacon comes and so does the COOK! THE COOK SAT NEXT TO US. I was talking to my girl about what was happening and the Cook approaches me and says whats your problem I said what are you talking about I am talking with my wife. He says I put FUCKING BACON on there! I said no you did not see these little bits that is suppose to be extra bacon. THE COOK LOOKS AT ME AND SAYS YOU ARE PENDEHOE! GO BACK HOME! I said" No you are pendehoe and you don't know how to cook " I saw how you verbally abused a family 2 weeks ago and you will not treat me that way! He said call the police! I asked my server who was embarrassed for our bill and boxes and he said no you don't have to pay. I said no I want to pay due to I dont need them saying I left without paying. I am so disappointed in the behavior of people and their antics! Praise the lord I just got out of church and I dont work on Sundays! I am embarrassed for anyone who works there and only thing they do have going is their eggs benedicts! And before I am told I was wrong by this establishment please bring the multiple cameras to life that you have watching over all of us to get the truth! read more
