It was our last night in Istanbul so we wanted to try a true local place. Boy did we luck out it was a fabulous meal. They only serve one dish and your decision is portion size. The lamb was juicy and well seasoned, the pita is below it on the plate, it comes with delicious fresh yogurt so creamy and smooth, fresh slices of ripe tomatoes and very spicy peppers. They do not serve liquor, but the Turkish tea pairs beautifully with the dish. Service was friendly and fast. We were seated immediately on a busy Friday night in the tourist area. It isn't on the main drag, but rather tucked up a small side street. The decor is simple, but there are notes of thanks all over the walls. Would definitely return. read more
