Dentist Needing a…read morenew dentist when I moved up to PSL, and being extremely leary of Florida dentists in general, I found Veranda which is nearby so decided to give them a try for a cleaning. Office is tucked in a very nicely done shopping center with the expected Florida water and shrubbery and outdoor ceiling fans. The office inside is larger than it appears from walking by and the front desk staff are just wonderful. Friendly and attentive, they will get you checked in and situated in short order. First visit went well with no hard sell / upsell of crazy services like "deep cleaning" (never heard of that until I got to FL) and all around a pleasant visit. Been back there about four times now and again, no hard sell or any pressure to do anything outside of what you would expect. Been bringing the whole family there and every experience has been very good. Definitely a win in my book. Give them shot if in need. Parking lots in front.

I was glad when I did receive a call with Dr. Salib gave me a call about a week later after he saw my review. I shared my experience with him and wasn't sure what happened and it seemed to come down to communication and explaining everything. I told Dr Salib I am not firing my Dr who I have been going to for years without talking to him first. Dr. Salib said he would do an investigation but his people are good people. I told him I respected him for that but you also need to ask yourself how and why your patient came in for a cleaning and left without it. more importantly he was calling me because he had to find my review on yelp which would never had been posted if your office manager told you to call me as I had requested and that he is the Dr and we are his patients not the office manager. Dr. Salib asked how can we move forward and said to have Cathy call me and reschedule my cleaning as I still wanted to get my teeth cleaned. It's been over a week so I just called the office and asked to have Cathy the hygienist give me a call I was met with what can I help you with. I said again I would like to discuss with Cathy. I was told she was the office manager and asked what it was pertaining to and I shared it was in regards to rescheduling my cleaning. I was then told that isn't going to be happening. ask her what she meant by that and she said she would not be rescheduling me and that she can assist me by providing my Xrays. I said ok, can you please have Dr Salib call me and she said no, then she said she would but was sure he didn't want me to speak to me or return my call. So Dr. Salib if that is your stance I would have expected you to pick up a the phone and call me and tell me yourself, Not ask me how do we move forward. If not you know my number. I have been a patient for years long before this office manager. let's be clear I didn't yell, I didnt scream, I didn't curse, I only questioned and said I didn't want the bite X-rays!

Dr. Salib is now the proprietor, and he is AWESOME. He lives in the area and is known by all of his clients as an empathetic and caring family man. A professional. His staff is awesome - they appreciate veterans, but most of all they are pain-free. His hygienists are awesome - even the reception and billing are caring. My wife experience has always been wonderful. Even when my unions coverage was terrible I still went here because you can't place a dollar amount on your teeth. I highly recommend this practice. As a resident of the area for the last 23 years - I honestly believe you won't regret your experience.

I was scene within 5 minutes of my appointment. I met Sandy, who was my hygienist for the morning. She was very nice, professional, but also fun. She wasn't stuck up, a know it all who couldn't joke around while cleaning your teeth. No, she told jokes, laughed and even cried while cleaning my teeth j/k. She performed the normal cleaning, polish, scrape and some new thing, which I never did before even when I was in LA. A hydro sonic water thing that loosened dirt off your teeth and then you can clean it ? Never seen that. Also never had or seen they massage your face, head and neck first to check for abnormal growths or cancer. Again all firsts for me. In the end, my teeth were rocking. I met Dr. Sleeve? Or however you spell it. Doc seemed nice. Had a smile on his face you know the how you doing talk. I didn't get to meet Dr. Barber. Maybe next time? I am scheduled to come back for 6 months and highly recommend others to sign up here as well.
