My husband got 2 individual scoops of ice cream which ran him close to 10 euro too and again, loaded with whipped cream. Somehow, our bill was close 25 euro. By the way L'isle-sur-la-Sorgue was our FAVORITE place in Provence... dipping our feet in that cold canal water, while listening to live music was one of the most memorable days of our France trip... Back to Louise. There were three of us and we each got 2 scoops, so we shared 6 flavors :-) The Violet was SO good, but so was the creme de citron meringue with the Bulgare Nature (the tart natural yogurt). The cheese in France is the best around... due to the local dairy... which is they their glaces (ice cream) are divine. Light, creamy, fresh with all natural ingredients. My favorite was the Bulgare Nature, it was an unusually creamy version of tart natural yogurt. I also really liked the Violet ice cream as I had never tasted that before. I would recommend Louise in a heartbeat. High quality, fresh ice cream. When on vacation during a *hot* summers day, what could be better?

From the table decors to the excellent desserts and everything in between, this has to be the best ensemble of a French meal I've not only seen but tasted, period. A night of great food, wine, service, ambience, people and a view from the top of the hill, what could possibly be better than this, right?? This was a first class all the way experience which I don't need to write a novel to tell you. Just look and drool over the photos, you'll want to be here in the beautiful town of Gordes, France, I promise.
