The store was charming, the attendant hospitable, and you could clearly see a man working behind the glass building chocolates. I purchased a pretty wide range of choices to bring back to the states. The chocolate lait caramel is the BEST CHOCOLATE I've EVER EATEN. It is unbelieveably delicious. I want to take a trip back to Montpellier just to get some. We found this small shop while walking around Marseilles and stopped in on a whim. The ladies were incredibly friendly, offering us samples of their unique olive oil chocolate. They are multilingual and incredibly considerate of allergies. The shop has all kinds of unique olive-oil based chocolate, from chocolate coffee beans to lavender infused or coffee infused chocolate. I bought some chocolate covered ginger to take home for about $20. A little pricier but the olive oil chocolate was quite unique and very smooth. Lovely spot, would come back for some high end chocolate.
