We walked through beautiful streets lined with many market tables with all types of merchandise. Then we walked to a lovely pedestrian street lined with quaint shops. One of those was Leonard Parli. Here they sell the traditional calissons. They are a tiny confection in a unique little container. The calissons are delightful, made from almonds, fruit, and sugar. The confection as well as their packaging are in a marquise shape. From there, we walked on to even more interesting market stands selling lavendar, provencal herbs, vegetables, fruits, and gift items.
What a delightful and lovely city on the Mediterranean coast of France!
