I first visited Rich in 2012 for our eldest daughter who was 5 at the time. She had extremely…read moreitchy/bumpy eczema on the inside of her elbows and behind her knees. It definitely flared up during the hotter months and with certain foods, but on other occasions it would just appear with no known cause. After only 3 clearing sessions it disappeared, never to be seen again. She is now 7 at the time I am writing this. On the dietary side of things, Rich suggested we cut out wheat, dairy, soy and corn due to the body's difficulty in processing these foods. As a mother of 3 I really struggle with this one (more for the kids who are picky eaters and have established food preferences). Despite continuing to have these foods in their diet, the eczema has been kept at bay! Rich is a conscious, well-read and specialized resource. I learned a lot from him on the underlying emotional issues that can lead to food sensitivities and even how experiences from our past coupled with a food we ate during a traumatic event can cause food issues. I find this subject fascinating and I highly respect Rich for the work he does with both adults and children. We have since been back to work on nut, animal and other food sensitivities.

I asked her to reconsider given the circumstances and she ignored my request, didn't respond to me just went ahead and charged my credit card instead. I am beyond disappointed in the way I was treated by a supposed care professional. I was so looking forward to this appointment and feel turned off the whole industry as a result of this. I couldn't possibly recommend anyone work with her.

For a work team-building activity focused on nutrition and wellness, we went to a cooking class…read morehere. We signed up for a class that would teach us vegetarian and gluten-free recipes that are healthy and wouldn't be too difficult to make ourselves. I'm always looking for easy recipes so I was looking forward to taking this class with my colleagues. The space isn't large and our team of 15 people filled the room across two tables. The instructor was very knowledgeable about nutrition (I think she said she was a cook at one point in her life) and explained how each dish is prepared, what the nutrition of each ingredient would provide, and substitutes available for ingredients to fit our dietary needs, e.g. vegetarian. She showed us how each dish was prepared and a tv projected what she was doing at the cutting board or stove so that everyone knew what to do. In teams of 4, we would prepare the ingredients (dice, slice, chop, marinade) and cook them as well. All the ingredients, condiments, and equipment were provided. The instructor came and gave us tips as well. At the end of the class, we got to try what we made, which was great. In that class, we made vegan pad thai without fish sauce. I have to say that without that classic fish sauce, the dish fell flat for me. I would be interested in taking other classes with her in the future, but probably ones that involve meat or seafood!

Andrea and Ellexis were both knowledgeable and made the classes more than fun. The best part was that got to eat what was demoed or what we made ourselves! I'm looking forward to attending the rest of this series.

My friend was recommended Helen Wong to me. She is holistic nutritionist and uses bio-wave information transmitter to transmit the biological signals from a person to the supplement or food (sample) to increase the degree of resonance between the products and the body in order to enhance the person intestinal absorption efficiency. Sounds so interesting? As a mid-age woman, I started to care about the health. I wanted to know the supplements I'm taking are fully effective or well absorbed by my body. She is friendly, patient and detail-oriented. She explained my health condition detailly, tested and analyzed all the supplements I bought to her. In an hour and half service was great and advise was useful. I would highly recommend to other yelpers and friends if they need any health consulting service.

Hi, my name is José, I'm 61 years old and 4 months ago I had 94 kilos on my 1.78 meter frame. At 23…read moreyears of age I was 75 kilos. Four years ago I was diagnosed obese with high blood pressure and have been on medication since ( two pills a day, one is some kind of blocker and the other a diuretic) Last April I contacted Jackie because I liked what she wrote on the web. She gave me first a general outline of what I needed to do to loose some weight and followed her guide; simple things like stop eating processed carbohydrates, bottled drinks, avoid red meats as much as I could, and some high sugar fruits. And sent Jackie the forms she asked me to fill (a lot of information about my lifestyle) June 29 I stared the program she designed for me with the information I has sent her, beginning with two weeks detox, in which I lost 4.9 kilos. The loss thereafter was slower, but by august 31 I was down to 83 kilos. When I started I was 45.5" waist and 42" hip, now I m 41" waist and 40.5" hip. Three weeks ago I had a checkup and had my sugar al 87, cholesterol at 170 and triglycerides at 150. My doctor told me I could stop taking one of the medication (the blocker), to keep a daily log of my blood pressure and go see her in one month and that if my blood pressure doesn't rise I can stop taking it for good. My readings have been in the range of 118-123/75-79. I feel in general very good, my joints are not as stiff as before, my skin looks and feels smoother, I can lie down on the floor and stand up a lot easier, and I'm very happy. It was hard at the beginning but it has has become easier as the the days go by and very much worth it, my goal is 80 kilos and I'm confident I will do it. I fully recommend Jackie, she is thorough and professional and her tips are very helpful.

He took in the whole picture - stress, eating, exercise and explained things in a kind and funny and very real way. Look, I've been to many naturopaths and this guy knows what he's doing.
