It's not the most spacious spot with a only handful of tables for 4 (I've seen people do 5 with someone on the end a bit awkwardly), but it's a cozy, well-kept local bar. Friendly bartenders and friendly folks that frequent the place with a solid cocktail list. They have hot dogs and a few smaller bites that I have not yet tried, but I am sure I will when I go back!

There are cocktail flights available, and we added on an additional cocktail for an additional $4. Friendly service, nice space, you can even get a growler of a cocktail to take home as the cocktails are pre-mixed. Cozy and comfortable atmosphere - it felt genuine here. I can't say enough wonderful things about Three of Strong. We've been several times, and there's…read morejust a warmth and coziness to it that I haven't found in many of the surrounding breweries/distilleries. The interior is spacious and chic, everyone greets you with a smile, and the service is just so kind. The cocktails are also delicious and reasonably priced: highly recommend doing the cocktail flight ($11 for three pours) so you can try a variety! We usually order their popcorn as well: $5 for a bowl with unlimited refills. Great cocktails + great popcorn + any of the boardgames that they have on hand = a perfect rainy-day afternoon. I also have to give a special shout-out to the staff at Three of Strong for allowing me to host part of my 30th birthday at the distillery when a previously planned picnic got rained out. I cannot emphasize enough how welcoming and helpful everyone was, setting tables up last minute to seat our large group, getting us paper plates, a knife, and a lighter when I was woefully unprepared for the cake-cutting, and slinging great drinks all afternoon to keep everyone entertained. We've since moved out of Portland, but Three of Strong remains one of our favorite go-to's during our time there. I'd give them 10 stars if they could, and you can be sure we'll be visiting next time we're back in town!

I loved the decor and overall vibe--it felt like such a fun place to stop in and relax for a bit. We ordered espressos and a Manhattan, and we also tried their house espresso martinis, which came with the cutest edible bird garnish! Such a fun little touch, and all of the drinks were delicious. Even though we were only there for a quick drink, I really enjoyed the atmosphere and would definitely come back for a longer visit. This would be a great spot for drinks before dinner or a fun night out!

I'm not a beer drinker, so I'll leave the beer reviews to everyone else. But the FOOD? YES. I had the grilled chicken Caprese sandwich and added a side of fries with their fancy sauce. That fancy sauce deserves its own moment. One of the things I really love about Bissell Brothers is the space and the vibe. There's outdoor dining, a bar area to the right that's 21+, and a family-friendly dining area to the left. They have plenty of their beers on tap, specialty drinks, and when we were there, the bar had a huge projector screen showing college football. And because apparently Maine has decided we need to combine all the best things in life... one table had a group of friends playing Cribbage. Good food, good atmosphere, football, Cribbage, outdoor seating, and fancy sauce. What more could you ask for? Definitely need to remember that Bissell Brothers is here and stop "forgetting" about it!

They also had a great variety of beers, cocktails, and non-alcoholic options, so there really is something for everyone.
