I just chose my options and the was told that it would be a 16-week lead time. Now the waiting begins. It ended up taking about 12 weeks and I was instructed to pick them up. Pick up was a seamless process too. Just pulled up and grabbed it and I was on my way. I was a little weirded out that there were no install instructions that I can easily find on the website, but once I got to installing the sliders, it was pretty clear why they didn't need any. It was a very straight forward process. I'm very happy with my Bamf sliders and can't wait to see what else they have going on.

Did a lot of research and decided their offering was the strongest and most respected product available. Ordered a pair online in late summer 2024. They were ready in late 2024, so in January 2025 I drove to their new location in Grass Valley to pick them up. Jerry was kind to set aside time to install them (for a fee similar to what shipping would have cost). Also picked up a differential skid plate at the same time - also installed by Jerry. Highly recommend this shop and their products.

Gabe and his crew are always busy because they are really good at what they do. Plan ahead, don't try to get a "this week" rush job. If you can draw an accurate engineering drawing or can rough something out and walk it in : they can help correct your drawing and do amazing things for very reasonable prices.

He told me to come in today and he would see what he could do to get me back on the road on time. He set a time for me to bring my truck and headache rack in at 10:30am today. I told him I had an appt. before that and I may not be able to make it at 10:30. He understood and I told him I would let him know if I was gonna be later. My appt. ended up taking hours longer than it should have, but Ryan was beyond understanding, told me he had to leave at a certain time, but was willing to do what he could with the short time I'd left him with. Beyond being willing to help and dealing with a new customer (yes me) that showed up hours later than scheduled, trusting that I would show up just on my word. Not knowing if he just wasted his entire day for a good paying project or a no go project. His honesty through our emails yesterday, being honest today in telling me he'll do what he can with my being late and his honesty while there is what sets him apart from other businesses. Unfortunately, because I was late he couldn't do anything today, therefore making no money on a new customer that held his day hostage. Being Self-Employed, honest businesses are the ones that earn my respect and business. He could've slapped something together that would've worked short term and possibly drilled unnecessary holes in my truck, but he "didn't want to just take my money and ruin my truck bed for a short term fix) where other shops I had spoken with would have. He's now gonna build a custom headache rack for my truck with the design I want, not just throwing your every day rack together. If you need a good, honest fabricator who takes pride in his business and your project. Don't waste your time calling around, Krauss welding and fabrication is the call you wanna make.
