Sometimes you just can't say enough about a place. When traveling in a different country, it the little things that make all the difference. Starting with location, it is right near the train station and about a 5 minute walk from the Octagon which is the center of town. They have outdoor patio seating as well as an inviting indoor area. Just a quick pass by the counter and you are overwhelmed with delicious looking options. Then you take a look at the menu and yep, probably can't go wrong.
In our quest to try new things or what a place may be famous for, it is always best to ask the waiter/waitress what the most popular dish is or what they are known for. The majority of the time, they won't steer you wrong. That day, the scone was highly recommended to us and omg was it amazing. I have never had such a moist and flavorful scone in my life. Definitely a must order!!!
When I looked at the drink menu, 1 thing stood out and not knowing what it was, I once again had to order it. The Ashley Latte, what a fun way to start a meal. By far the best, put a smile on your face, drink I have ever had. It was just a colorful plain latte, but the colors made it all the better.
Since I hadn't ordered battered fish anywhere on our trip, I decided to do so here. It was good, however I would prefer to stick with the more unique menu items as those all hit the spot.
I would return here in a heartbeat anytime I am in town. read more
