As soon as you go in, there's a bar to the left and a big fireplace and step up platform with more seating in the front. There's also a second dining room and a big patio outside. We decided to order one appetizer and a few mains to share. The arancini was everything you'd expect, crispy bread crumb exterior, with soft risotto on the inside. The marinara sauce and cream cheese really adds a depth of flavour. For our mains we shared the salmon papillote, the braised short rib and Buddha bowl. Surprisingly the Buddha bowl was very flavourful with the peanut sauce and the entire bowl was a big salad. The beef short rib was tender and melt in your mouth, really well executed. The salmon paillote was cooked well but not over cooked. The only thing I was a bit unsure were the roasted beets. Appearance-wise it was a bit daunting, but once you eat it, it's a familiar earthy flavour. Overall food was great. The service was a bit spotty, but there were a number of tables and only 1-2 staff on the floor, with the owner behind the bar. After chatting with the owner, he revealed he used to work at Steamworks brew pub near Waterfront station in Vancouver. A great little place to stop by for a meal, will definitely go back next time we go through town again.

I also got a side of hasbrowns. This and two coffees came to about 27$. It was one of my better memories about Clearwater, BC. Service was great as well. We were served by the waitress with the lower lip ring and she was great. And to top this off, it was reasonably priced. I think this might be the best restaurant in Clearwater if their breakfast is any indication. If you ever find yourself out here, I would recommend you eat at least breakfast here.
