When I became older he trained me in his back yard every weekend during the summer in the mid 80's. . His mentorship was impeccable, he did not just teach the use of hands and feet, you promoted being disciplined and using the mind. Then he opened his school on Nebraska Street, I was one of the original students. I stayed there until I departed for Marine Corps Boot Camp 1 Feb 1988. Years later after returning from a combat tour in Iraq, I went to visit Master Dorsey and his demeanor remain as it was when I was a kid, he carried himself like a calm warrior. He is still passing on the knowledge after all of these years. If I was currently living in Marion, my children would be his students. I feel honored to say that I once trained under Master William Dorsey.

The annual boot camp is rigorous but valuable, our son made some good memories there. Mind you, we left Park institute 2 years ago and after seeing other places I felt compelled to leave this review. Park institute's certificates are recognized as far as the east coast. Lot of graduates from this place have started their own schools all over the Midwest. He is very patient with his students and makes sure that students learn and progress at the right pace. He pays close attention to each and every student, and knows the developmental needs for each. When we moved to Cincinnati I specially sought out Master Kim so that I could enroll my 5yr old even though it meant driving 30 mins to get to class. He is that good! During COVID, they were one of the first Fishers establishments that put into place safety measures for all students and staff.
