All moving violations throughout Alameda County. All dismissed either due to officer not present or because Atty. Silveira is a master at what he does. On one particular case, I sat in the courtroom and watched Mike fight on my behalf remotely on Zoom. The officer had a grudge against me and showed up to court nearly 2 years after he issued the citation (atypical). Mike's cross-examination techniques are so effective--within minutes, my case was dismissed and the officer literally stormed out of the court room in anger and glared at me on his way out. If I wasn't required to wear a face mask in the court room, I would have been picking up my jaw from the floor. I've sat through nearly all of my court cases and watched how other lawyers represent their clients. Mike actually FIGHTS on your behalf, most people hire an attorney who PLEADS OUT and never gets to a stage where the officer is cross-examined. Respect law enforcement, but also hold them accountable. Never put yourself in the court room without proper representation. Long story short: read a few more reviews--they're 5 Stars for a reason, then hire Silveira Law. Response times can be slow because the firm is busy, so plan accordingly. You'll interact mainly with his paralegals by emailing copies of your citation/license, then hear nothing until your case is dismissed. Second, I did call them myself 2 days before my court trial was set, and FINALLY spoke with A representative by the name of Luis who told me that I have nothing to worry about and that somebody from the company, I said above I had already hired them two months before my trial was set, and Luis confirmed twice to me during that phone conversation that someone from the company will come and represent me. Nothing of the sort occurred. The company completely lied to me. Absolutely nobody from the company came to represent me during my court trial despite like I said above I had hired them long time before my court date exactly for that purpose. Also when I called them when I found out that I had lost the case, they had the absolute insolence to claim that they had called me and wore me a day or two before my court date. Nobody ever called me ever since I hired them. The only person who ever called them, was me and that was only when I became aware that nobody called me and then 3 days before my trial I decided to call them , just like I said above. and find out what's going on. I already related this story above. They provided extremely extremely unprofessional and bad service. Because of them I lost the case. They are so disrespectful of their clients, that not only they didn't call me all to let me know that they would never show for my trial, and if they had to call me to notify me that they would no longer represent me, they should have done that at least a week and a half before my trial, as that would have been THE ONLY WAY they would have given me ample time to replace them. But not only they never communicated with me that they would never show on my trial, they also completely failed to offer ANOTHER attorney replacement. YES THE CALIFORNIA ATTORNEY PROFESSIONAL CODE OF CONDUCT clearly stipulates that the attorney must always fin a suitable replacement if they cannot themselves represent their clients. Also during my follow-up conversation they continue to lie, fire Luis a representative from the company, forcedly yelled at me during my phone conversation that the company never offers any refunds. I called them again and spoke with the representative by the name of Delilah, I think that's how her name is spelled as she refused to provide me with the spelling of her name, another unprofessional conduct. Anyway during my conversation she lied that the company had tried to contact me, ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE AS I HAD SHOWN ABOVE, continue to provide other lives about how I was refunded and so was and what date and so on. I just dropped the call. No use arguing with crooks and thieves. Yes they are absolutely dishonest, they lie to your face just to get your money and then they never deliver never deliver on what they promise. They should be disbarred and they should be fined they should never be allowed to practice law in California. The most dishonest, treacherous and lying company that I have ever worked with.
