I would never write a negative review to deter anyone from seeking what they need from a business if they see positive qualities that attracts them to that business . I only speak on my own personal experience. What may work for other people, may not work for me, and that is absolutely fine. So this review just expresses my honest opinion, as someone who has never experienced being in a car accident and seeked legal guidance while going through medical treatments. I really wanted to love this firm (female buisness owner) and to feel that they provided me with everything displayed on their social media while doing my research to search for representation. To be honest, it was never the actual owner I ever had confrontation with (until the end). But there were confrontations. I have a complete understanding that lawyers do get busy and have alot on their plate, so that's why I never went out of my way to bother or be a nuisance to the Company during my healing. I just did my part and updated as much as possible through my "journals". I just feel disappointed in a sense that I put my trust for my case in the hands of a company that: 1) I Never had phone conversations with an actual lawyer until 8 months later, when my treatments were almost over (two phone conversations ever within nine months) 2) Accused me of having a phone conversation about a situation when it never happened (I offered to send my call log as proof and have them find their phone number and highlight the date and time as confirmation) 3)That I thought would be more involved in communicating with their clients to ensure they are in good hands and that ensure work is being done, rather than leaving them in the complete dark. The closer I got to healing was the point where I wanted to know cruitial updates as it pertained to my case. Things I probably should have asked in the beginning , but never did because not only was I busy healing , but also because I felt my representation was on it. This whole situation has taught me alot. I was put in a situation that makes me angry when I think about it. Had to suffer the consequences of someone else's actions. And at the end of the day, I feel like I have been failed by everyone around me. Like I get no justice, in all aspects. But it has also pushed me to want to help and educate people who are in my situation. Who dont know where to turn to or what to do. When you don't think anyone is fighting for you, internally I am and hopefully you find a good fit for you. This business was not a good fit for ME and was not worth MY time. regardless of that, I will maintain my respect but also express my experience so that if other people see the signs or feel they are not given the representation they expect, its okay to be vocal. And its okay to walk away. I made that decision knowing what my outcomes could be for my settlement , but my sanity and self respect is more important to me. If someone is not listening or fighting for me, then our interest are in a different place. I honestly wish I could give a better review. Since this case involves MUNI we were waiting on video under the freedom of information act. That's when comms went silent. I tried calling Thursday and Friday last week but no one answers the phone. I called this morning and a Paval answered the phone. I asked for Anna. He stated she was not in and he was an attorney. I asked about were they taking my case or not? Paval started telling me that they had not received the information and that the driver could say I cause the accident etc. My take is unless your case is at the point of settlement that would be the only time they would be interested.
