The Irish Refugee Council does some really interesting work, much of which those of us lucky enough not to need information on refugees would not ever think of needing. Having done some work with them in the past, they are a very interesting organisation, covering such topics as separated children, acommodation and the asylum process. The staff are helpful and full of information. While much of their work goes unnoticed by the public at large, they do challenge perceptions (often negative) of asylum seekers and refugees, and seek to improve understanding. read more
