The first time Floki was only a puppy and Jake helped with the do's and don't of raising a puppy in a busy household. We then hit covid and coming put the other side we now had an adult dog with anxiety and bad walking habits. Following the advise and guidance from both Jake and Nala, Floki is much happier. We have been using Ballygarvan kennels for over 14 years now…read more Excellent service. We sent our 2 dogs that have now passed to Patrick for years. They were always happy to be dropped off and looked amazing when we picked them up. We now have a puppy who we have brought to Ballgarvan kennels a few times. She loves it and is always relaxed and in great form when we collect her so we know she has had a great time. We would Highly recommend these kennels. Patrick is so knowledgeable and always on hand if you need advise or help.

If…read moreyou have a dog that likes to do nothing, but has a clean, heated kennel, then this is the place, but not for energetic dogs needed stimulation and cuddles. The dogs are just left in an outdoor fenced-in area to sniff around. My dog was there for only one night on one occassion and the poor dog pooped and pee'd all over the sitting room for the next two nights. That tells me either she never got out of the kennel or she was stressed. When I picked her up from the kennel she would be shivering until we got home. Now i have found a kennel where she reacts the same as if we were pulling up at the beach, so excited to get out and see the kennel owner and enjoy her holiday there.

Worst farrier we have ever had to trim our horses hoof. Not only was he rude to us but beat our…read morehorse caused her trauma to her face by hitting her with the hoof file for no reason at all. Kept hitting her with his fist, kicking her several times and causing her to fall backwards and proceeded to stomp her head and neck while she was laying down. We have never been so threatened by anyone like that before. The last farrier was finished in 30 mins and never had any issues with trimming her hoofs. He also proceeded to use foul language in front of me as a grown woman and never cared if he offended me or not This guy was 2 hours late and smelt of alcohol. I would highly recommend not using this guy at all keep looking for someone nicer. Please if you love your animals like we do PLEASE DO NOT USE HIM! I can not believe how he acted with our horse!
