Her presence was very helpful and she put me at ease. I got SO many compliments on my hair and makeup! At the end of the night, even after all of that dancing my makeup still looked fresh. They were a few minutes late but finished doing all five bridesmaids with plenty of time, the down hair styles they did for us were gorgeous and stayed in place all day / night. They were friendly, professional, super efficient, one of them even helped us clean up after our brunch. I've been in six or seven previous weddings and I liked my hair in this wedding the best of any of them. Really nice flowy curls. I would strongly recommend hiring them, your bridesmaids won't be disappointed!

Lindsey and Allison were top notch and delightful to work with from start to finish. I am someone…read morewho generally doesn't do much with my face or my hair, and they made me look and feel like a literal goddess for my wedding. I was nervous about looking like I went way overboard, considering I'm generally pretty simple with my tastes, but both Lindsey and Allison listened and made me look like me - just amplified. My make-up and my hair somehow stayed put all night, even after running around the dance-floor like a maniac for 3+ hours. One of the biggest compliments I received was from an uncle who said "your hair looks so lovely, you should do that more often!" because he had no idea the effort that went into it. It was proof to me that I didn't look overdone, but rather the best possible version of myself. Besides making me feel so beyond beautiful, these girls took the same care and attention to make my bridesmaids, my mom, and my mother-in-law look and feel their best. Everyone's hair and makeup came out lovely and identical to the inspo photos my bridesmaids came armed with, and my mom walked around all night with the biggest smile on her face because she knew she was just lighting up the room. Both Lindsey and Allison also offered touch-ups to all of the girls before the ceremony and before the reception, completely unprompted, which was such a nice touch. A huge thank-you to the Textbook Beauty HQ duo - you two are masters of your craft.

AVOID THIS SALON. I…read morehad the absolute worst experience at La Jolie Salon & Spa. I left in tears feeling ugly and not looking like myself. I went in for a brow lamination and tint plus a lash tint. I was never asked what shape or tint color I would like. The tint does not match my hair or skin tone and the shape is not what I would have picked. The lash tint is jet black and left stains around my eyes - I look like a punk rocker raccoon. I never received post care instructions so when I went home I scrubbed my face to get as much of the tint off as possible. I know from getting laminations before that you cannot get them wet same day so this treatment was useless and a HUGE waste of my money. On top of not getting to advise on my service, during the service I was not treated with care. I was left in the room for random amounts of time on several occasions. I had my Apple Watch so I would see if the salon would come back to check on me when they said but the times were always extended which is probably why the tints are so much darker then expected. I cannot stress this enough - do not go here.
