Tech explained that phone was not infected but it was a phishing scheme for me to click the "Apple" link to remove virus - for a fee of course. I didn't take the bait. Tech took care of it over the counter in 30 seconds without charge. Phone 2: iPhone needed a new battery. Tech explained that reason for battery failure was the charging case. He showed us the damaged battery when we picked up the phone and explained how to properly use the charging case to avoid future battery damage. Both iPhones: wanted them to add VPN to both phones. He told us they don't provide that service, but gave us a trustworthy web site to find a what we wanted. Polite, knowledgeable and took time to fully explain every issue. 100% satisfied.

Granted the phone needed many repairs ( which we were never called and informed / suggested any extra repairs !?!! We would've paid ) instead they waited for us to be there show us they did the bare minimum we double backed almost immediately because we noticed the screen wasn't seated properly into the actual mold of the phone ( the screen seem to be sitting on top ) and it looked like it wasn't cleaned correctly either . Was offered a discount to come back and fix charging port and camera ...ok cool not even a week with the screen repaired and the phone screen goes all blank and we noticed a small crack . We return to the shop we explained and they stated they weren't able to fix the screen due to the screen being cracked Not even a week and the screen didn't hold thankfully we came to an agreement and fixed it... only for the same thing to happen not even a week later . I tried to call the place and give them the benefit of the doubt to be good people and at least partially refund us due to the inconvenience and clearly not well done job , 2 screen repairs done within a time frame of 13 days and both went out, they stated no refund or partial refund could be issued and for me to return. I didn't not reconsider wasting my time again with them so I opted to loose my money and go with another phone shop . PLEASEEE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE . Well I was surprised it's a huge flea market I guess mariachi is a flea market. Well the girls there were so nice and pleasant n helpful I told them my issue with the iPhone and they told me 40 min and gave a great price. That I ran and got my other phone that had a charging problem Well 40 min later I had both my phones and they were as good as new. I highly recommend the girls to doing the phone repair. I went in to this shop with high hopes. This is by far the closest guitar amp repair shop to me in…read moreBradenton. Unfortunately, I was thoroughly disappointed. I brought in a small vintage guitar amp to have the output transformer replaced, filter caps replaced, the amp biased, and a grounded power cord installed to replace the 50 year old two prong plug that was on it. I was told it would be about a week for the repair and it would cost about $75 - fair enough. It took over three weeks before the amp was finished. When I picked it up Mike, the owner, told me that he hadn't replaced the filter caps because they tested ok (which is not what I had asked him to do!), and had not installed the grounded power cord because he said the amp didn't need it - that everything was just fine without the grounded cord. He charged me the full price of $75 despite not doing the work I had asked him to. Sure enough, when I got the amp home and plugged in my guitar I got shocked. If he had installed the cord like I had asked in the first place this situation could have been avoided. It took nearly two weeks to get the amp back to him because he was always out on service calls when I tried to stop by. When I was finally able to get the amp to him he started to work installing the power cord I provided on the spot. I was thankful I didn't have to wait. When stripping the wire, instead of using proper wire strippers he used a pocket knife, which resulted in accidentally cutting through to bare wire (cursing to himself), which meant he had to cut off about 4 inches from the length of my cord and start over (sloppy and careless). Also, instead of properly desolding the old power cord from inside the amp he simply cut the wires and soldered the new power cord on top of the old wire (sloppy work) When I got home again the I plugged the amp in and it worked great, however I noticed that the power cord had not been installed into the cord retainer, which meant that any tugging on the cord would stress the solder joints and potentially pull them off. Upon further inspection I saw that his pocket knife had again cut through the insulation, exposing bare wire on two of the three wires. If these wires had touched the result could have been deadly! In the end, I ended up doing the job properly myself. It took me about 30 minutes to do it right. I will never again trust this man or his company to do quality work on my amplifiers. His work is rushed, sloppy, and he does not use the proper tools for the job. In addition, his customer service was - to put it nicely - adversarial. The sign on the wall of his shop says "Prices are subject to customer attitude." That should tell you all you need to know about his demeanor towards customers. If you value your gear, stay far away!
