I would never use this company if you want your job done correctly or even finished. Please avoid at all costs. You never want to hear I told you so. I called and I spoke with Vanessa who said she would like someone to come out and look at the job prior to giving me a price. TJ came out to look at the job and told Vanessa what needed to be done. 8 bathroom faucets, 1 kitchen faucet, 5 toilets, 8 sink drains with vents, 1 garbage disposal and 4 shower trims. This also included moving 1 diverter forward. She called me a few days later and gave me a price. I agreed to the price she quoted. She gave me a price based on the work I described above. She said it should take 6 hours. I scheduled a date to come out and complete the work. They came a few weeks later to the job. By then I had already installed the & faucets. So they didn't have to do those. I wasn't offered a credit. They installed 5 toilets ( one of the toilets I am not sure if it's even installed properly as I found parts covered in the trash) very suspicious as to why no one said anything to me, see picture, 1 garbage disposal, 1 kitchen faucet, moved a diverter, and installed 4 ptraps with 3 guys. 6 hours passed and TJ tells me we are at the 6 hour mark. I said ok. What does that mean. He said it going to be 150.00 an hour now. I said what. Vanessa gave me a fixed price. Vanessa calls and says do you want them to continue to work and finish. I said well I want them to finish what we agreed to for the "fixed" price. They stayed another hour and I helped TJ lift a free standing tub into place as it was connected to the drain. One of the workers complained how he didn't know how to install the toilets. TJ had to stop each time he was doing something to help the other guys complete or finish the task. Needless to say the job was never completed. I still have 4 more ptraps to install with vents. The kitchen faucet doesn't go back in the holder because the vent TJ installed hits the weight (picture attached) . When the job was completed she demanded payment without an invoice. I told her I have a two hour drive back. After hours of text threats and 10 missed calls I received the invoice and paid it once I arrived home. I have sent a text message and 2 emails a few days ago to correct and finish the problems and I have been ignored. I am going to dispute the charge. You have been warned. All I wanted was to have this fixed and completely properly. I would recommend Oliver plumbing. They came to finish the p-traps and finish the other issues.

a water heater and a door

IRC Leak Detection & Plumbing re-plumbed our existing underground water lines with new water lines. The re-plumbing also included replacement of the old water heater with a new one even though the old water heater worked perfectly. During the re-piping the contractor forgot to connect the water line to the left side exterior hose bib. Seven months after the re-installation, in addition to the previous problem, when the contractor did not connect the plumbing to the left outer bib, the new heater installed by IRC burned out. According to warranty the contractor has to repair the broken heater but IRC refused to service us at this time. We called the heater manufacturer and AO Smith representative said they have no information about when and where the heater was purchased. However, AO Smith agreed to replace it. During the inspection, the representative said that not only the heater was broken, but the heater damaged the main electrical panel and before installing a new heater, we must fix the switchboard. The new heater is much larger than the old one and when installed, was blocking access to the electrical panel built into the wall of the utility room. Electricians couldn't open the fuse box because the heater was installed directly in front of the panel and is about 2 inches from the switchboard. Electricians refused to work because they couldn't open the box door. It means that we have to move the heater to another location. IRC had refused to solve the problem. Their representative explained that relocation of the water heater would not be part of the re-pipe. IRC Leak Detection & Plumbing Inc is NOT professional company. I highly NOT recommend this company!

I called Climate Experts to fix a cracked PVC pipe on the outlet side of my water softener filter…read more The repair involved exposing and replacing a roughly 2-foot section of pipe (3/4" to 2"), and it completely resolved the issue with my water softener system. The technician was friendly and knew what he was doing; he worked efficiently and had it sorted without any hassle. My only real note is on price: the repair was on the expensive side for what it was. That said, the work was done right, and the problem was fixed, which ultimately matters most. Overall a solid experience, and I'd consider them again for future plumbing needs.

I am writing to formally address a dispute regarding the water heater installation services…read moreprovided by Climate Experts. Below is a detailed account of the situation, including the timeline, agreements, and subsequent issues: Timeline and Agreements Initial Quote and Agreement: On 5 February 2025, Climate Experts provided a quote for installing a customer-supplied water heater. The quote explicitly stated: "The replacement water heater can be installed either in the attic space where the existing one currently is (provided it fits in the attic access), or it can be installed in the garage. Either location, pricing valid for either.", "*Installation includes all required wiring & water lines." Pictures and requested information were provided by my realtor to assist in preparing the quote. Additional detailed pictures of the house layout were available online via the property listing. I signed the quote on 7 February 2025 and paid $2,150 on 9 February 2025. Tech Visit and Refusal to Install: The technician arrived at the property and stated that the supplied water heater could not be installed in the attic due to its hybrid nature, weight concerns, and potential condensation issues. I requested that the water heater be installed in the garage, as explicitly stated in the signed quote. Climate Experts refused, claiming the situation was not as expected and that installation in the garage would cost more than the quoted and paid amount. Forced Purchase of Additional Water Heater: Due to time constraints related to the sale of the house, Climate Experts leveraged the urgency of the situation, leaving me with no choice but to purchase the recommended water heater for installation in the attic. The new water heater was installed with an invoice dated 17 February 2025 and signed 13 February 2025. Issues and Concerns Failure to Honor Signed Quote: The signed quote explicitly stated that the water heater could be installed in the garage. Climate Experts refused to honor this agreement, citing additional costs and unforeseen circumstances despite having sufficient information (pictures, listing details, etc.) to prepare the quote. Lack of Due Diligence: Climate Experts did not send a technician to inspect the property prior to providing the quote, despite my realtor offering flexibility to accommodate a visit. This oversight led to inaccurate assumptions and subsequent issues. Leverage of Time Constraints: Climate Experts leveraged the urgency of the situation, forcing me to purchase an additional water heater to meet the inspection requirements for selling the house. Financial Impact: I incurred additional costs due to Climate Experts' refusal to honor the original agreement and their lack of due diligence.

I needed a couple lavatory faucets installed, a cut off valve replaced, and the under the kitchen sink drain plumbing redone. On calling Sembler and Sons and leaving a message, I received a quick return call. He was able to "move things around and get a technician out tomorrow!" The next day, as promised, Alex called and arrived 15 minutes later. We discussed my issues, and he quickly got to work. He did a great and efficient job, used quality parts and as we discussed options all along he was patient with my being a busybody! The price was reasonable and the work was outstanding! On our talking, he told me they are a family business, that Dad has been doing this for 40+ years, and the entire family is proud to do great work! This is the company I've been looking for as I now know a genuine honest and experienced plumber for a reasonable price! Needless to say I'm not looking for additional plumbing issues, but when I do, I won't hesitate to contact them, and heartily recommend Sembler and Sons plumbing!
