I have been coming to this company to get my CDs printed for the past 3 years. Was recommended by a friend and my first experience with Dan was awesome and he was extremely helpful. He worked with me on my design even! This year when I first went back several months ago, the customer service was not nearly as good- I think partly due to an increase in business- which is great! BUT, my emails were never returned and I had to send multiple emails and call just to get a response at all. This I could deal with. However, first order I placed this year was for 100 CDs and when I picked them up they wouldn't play in my car. They rectified this situation after several days and I'm sure some money on their part lost, but it was a pretty big deal that they weren't quality checked. This still didn't stop me from giving them my business. I then went to them several months later for a $400 order of 200 CDs and when I received them (the day of the CD release via UPS ground) every SINGLE ONE of them had the back tray card in upsidedown! This means that I had to take off the front, and then the inner tray and then flip the back tray card for EVERY SINGLE ONE of these before the release. When I wrote them (3 emails) and called them- all I was told from the front desk lady was that on my next cd I could have 10% off of my order. This is after spending $600 in only two months. Nothing to sneeze at! Rodney says he didn't have my number on file (it was in several emails, and i am easily reached via email as well) when I finally confronted him on the telephone about this horrible ongoing issue... it only progressed to this point because when I FINALLY received an email response about the mistake, all it said was "www.discmakers.com" Which is extremely snarky TO SAY THE LEAST! I have NEVER been treated this way by small business, and I chose to continue going to these folks even though they have the worst Quality control checks I've ever seen. So much for supporting IQ FAST PRINT. I will NEVER go back, and I will be very VOCAL about telling all my friends and compadres to avoid as well. Musicians BEWARE! read more
