I kid you not. Sell short! Maybe cause it's 10 minutes before closing- carts cutting each other off, just like the local highways, a gazillion checkout stands- so there's flow. Unlike the line to see the Da Vinci Museum- which we gave up on after an hour. Italy welcomed us with a big spit in the face. I figured out how to use the tram, but there was zero signage on how to buy tix. No ticket machines, nothing on the above ground lines. So clueless us, board the train, disembark at the 1st tourist destination and Bam! Surrounded by 3 traffic cops who threaten us with heavier fines if we don't pay the regular fine right then & there. They ask for your passport, take your credit card, & charge you 45 Euros, the cost of going to every major museum in a day + lunch. Milan, I think I hate you. The groceries were ok.
