You won't find an office where you are greeted friendly and professionally from the time you open…read morethe door you leave. The doctors are so on their game. They performed my cataract laser surgery, which went great, and then a few years later, I started having macular degenerative issues in one eye that I wasn't aware of, and they caught it quick and have been treating it, and it has been successful.

I don't have a problem with the staff who helped me with the eye exams, they were efficient,…read morecourteous and did their job. However, it appears that they are charging people for their eyeglass prescriptions. People need to be aware that the FTC Guidelines under the Eyeglass Rule specify that prescriptions for eyeglasses are required to be given to the patient right after their refraction (vision exam). They are NOT allowed to charge extra for it. Please search "Eyeglass rule" on line and read the rules. The fine per violation is $50,000 so this is taken seriously. People are unaware of this. They had the audacity to charge over $200 for an eye exam (which can be had elsewhere for a third of the price) and then say the prescription was extra. This is wrong and illegal. If you have paid extra for an eyeglass prescription anywhere, that office charged illegally.

He didn't move the gown off my back. Then took off like I was on fire. I actually called my insurance company to tell them he didn't deserve to get paid, when I had to see if I could get my yearly check up done over by another Dr. NOW....his office has been bugging me every month, for 4 months, calling me to schedule a follow up appointment, even when I told them I will not see him again, and to take my name off their calling list. This shows me he is desperate for patients. Of course there will be people who are happy with him, perhaps for other services, but I've never had a Dr. like this.

So, I rate the solicitation of patients a definite ONE STAR OR NO STARS! When asked if they accept Medicare, the answer was in unqualified yes. I would, however, have to submit payment for services upon receiving the services. It was explained to me that Medicare would then reimburse me. Upon further inquiry, I discovered, from them, on the day of my appointment, that they were a non-participating, out of network provider! Technically, this means that they DO NOT accept or participate in the Medicare program or any supplement insurance you may have. They were dishonest and devious in their attempt to get me in the office. Legally, they may be guilty of fraud in their current practice of withholding the fact that they are a non-participating, out-of-network office. I canceled my appointment and immediately posted this review to warn other unsuspecting potential patience of their unscrupulous, misinformation about Medicare. Caveat Emptor... let the buyer beware!

They then send to your insurance provider which won't pay because (says his office staff only after I madea call questioning) he doesn't work with insurance companies. If they don't work with providers why do they tell you that your insurance will reimburse???? I will not go back!
