That does not mean it can't use an upgrade to its beds which are about as firm as you can imagine. The rooms are really nice and the bathrooms, particularly the showers, are a step above most hotel rooms you'll find in Italy. Rate is also good but if you're traveling with a group make sure to book early as they only have six rooms so they can be limited in availability.
