I have been hunting for a spiritual shop that would provide me with tools to assist me on this new path I've embarked on. I realized Oregonians don't use Yelp heavily as Californians do. However, the few pictures of the inside of the shop did draw me in and stood apart from the other spiritual shops in the surrounding area. My friend was looking for runes and I was curious what treasures I would find. The treasure I found was not of the material goods but the connection with the owner Kristie. I have an inquisitive mind that can never be satisfied. As an Aquarius in the Age of Aquarius, I've felt like I was summoned to help others but had no idea how. By watching and engaging with Kristie, I understand by aiding others in their spiritual growth, I evolve through small acts of kindness (it didn't need to be a grand gesture or some self-sacrificing ritual). A few things I found and love are the candles, specifically the mugwort candle, brass lockets, bone runes, pocket watch, and the seer. I have always been skeptical about the spiritual community, but I can't deny the recent experience I've had that there are unknown forces around us that can't be seen but are felt. read more

I picked up a small crystal pyramid from this store that is imbued with the most wonderful, grounding energy. If you feel impressed to check out this store on Yelp or find that you have wandered in to see their wares while mindlessly meandering on Stark street, then it is possible that you are meant to synchronistically gain some wisdom from the store owner or its cosmically radiant store associates. I'm not kidding! Every ware in the store is placed on the shelf with conscious intent. Go ahead, quiz the store owner. She'll give you the low-down on literally every piece in the store. She has an effervescent air about her and she takes her calling seriously. I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS STORE!!! A peaceful shopping experience tucked away from the hustle of the city on a quiet side street in Montavilla. While other stores in the area keep odd hours, some not even picking up the phone regardless of the time of day ii call, my call was answered quickly. Later, I stopped in and found the owner is helpful and friendly, managing to answer questions and attend to the shop simultaneously. She didn't have exactly the Tarot deck I came in for but offered suggestions for other, locally-sourced decks. In the meantime I picked up a nice little crystal point for my collection. I stopped by this beautiful shop yesterday to pick up some of the highest quality incense I've ever used. Such a unique variety of scents and each incense stick I bought lasted far longer than any I've bought before. Also strong enough to make it throughout the whole space (but not overbearing). My friend was embarrassed in this store quite harshly by christy the owner . My friend who was holding a book in their left hand, reached in their bag with their right hand for the phone. And Christy said Loudly over the two customers she was already engaged with, " I will hold that book for you!". Subtly (not so subtly) accusing my friend of stealing! How outrageous. My sweet friend was so embarrassed, hurt and felt racially profiled (yes they are POC), they left. Ill be sure to tell more people about this nonsense . So I called in defense of my friend and get some answers out of the owner. She insisted she wouldn't do that, only to get caught up and say she does that all the time. I of course called her assumptions rude, then She flipped out! Screaming "you're wrong!!", about 10 times.. talk about a person needing some energy work done. She totally flipped out. This is my new favorite store for magickal supplies. Many stores of this nature make the mistake of being overly bright and cluttered. Invoke has just the right amount of everything. The dark furniture contrasts the good afternoon light and the merchandise is well-placed. Each item is on display, candles and supplies have explanations on cards, and the pricing is visible. Recently, I purchased two candles (Wealth and Rue Magic) that were handmade. I have to say I found them to be high quality. Powerful and even-burning. I will be back. read more
