The office administrators, Mamta and Nithin, are more then accommodating, efficient, and friendly--there is NO fear of confusion, frustration, or unwelcomeness here! Every time I have been here, the space looks clean and well organized. My treatment was finished on time (18 months, just as was predicted). Cons: Before beginning treatment, I was sent to a different office for x-rays which unfortunately (from speaking to people who have gotten treatment from other orthodontists), seem to be standard procedure. I felt uncomfortable with so many x-rays and am in the belief that the entire dental industry itself needs to be more conservative in this aspect. Conclusion: I now have beautiful teeth. This orthodontist is at the top of his field because that is exactly where he belongs. If anyone has questions, leave me a comment on this review and I will be happy to respond. More details about my experience: In 2009, my doctor recommended that I go see Orthodontist Dr. Peter Gold, as he was "like minded". I believe this meant with exceptional integrity and a certain level of advancement, so I made the appointment. When I first arrived, I was greeted by a cheerful receptionist Jenn, she was attentive and enthusiastic. I was further impressed by the upscale and comfortable appearance of the office itself. The waiting room looks more like a living room, with individual leather chairs, and a large flat screen tv. There is free wifi and even an ipad for guests to use, although I never had the chance to enjoy it, as I never spent more than a couple of minutes in the waiting area (during the entire course of my treatment). The next person I was greeted by was the doctor's assistant, Marcy, who had the same enthusiastic and warm disposition as Jenn. She answered some questions and we chatted and laughed for a bit before my consultation with the orthodontist. When I met Dr. Peter Gold, he left an impression that seemed very honest and resonated with me. He was down to earth, in a good mood, and made me feel like an important client. Every time I have gone there since this day, the energy in this office has always been the same. Everyone seems genuine, happy to be there and they always address me by name. The work itself also consistently demonstrates an exceptional level of skill. Dr. Peter Gold is always "in the zone", he's really quite brilliant. My experience lines up with what I had heard from an art therapist employed at Women's College Hospital. Dr. Peter Gold and his staff had done her braces too, years back, and she was very happy with her treatment. In our conversation she referred to him as "the best", "an artist" and encouraged me to follow through. I'm so glad I did because she was right! My teeth look perfect! I only wish I had the opportunity to get orthodontics sooner. Although I must warn anyone wanting braces; once you have them in, it's a big responsibility! I was finding the upkeep to be somewhat challenging, and Dr. Gold told me that if I couldn't do it, then he would rather remove my braces than have any damage to my teeth. Despite the fact that this conversation was upsetting to me, it also showed me that he would prioritize my well being. Of course, I already knew this by the thoroughly thoughtful, customized approach to the service I was receiving. Many things were considered before the course of action on my treatment was decided upon (including current lifestyle, future finances, etc). Dr. Gold and his staff (including also Veronica, the hygienist) are the kind of people that raise the status quo, and make the world a better place to live in. I highly recommend them! When you get your orthodontic treatment here, you are supporting a philanthropic business that generously gives back to the community. Nevermind the issues I had with this office rescheduling my appointments last minute (even trying…read moreto shift my cleaning / Invisalign caps removal the day before my wedding) I had an awful experience with Dr. Patel with a procedure and am now stuck with two front teeth that are yellow, and the constant fear I will crack my tooth every time I eat. I had a composite on one of my front teeth (which lasted 15 years, no issues) and wanted to get another composite on the other front tooth so they matched. I was assured that the better and option was bioclear and that it would last "about ten years". I had the procedure done ($1000 before taxes) and most of one of the teeth snapped off in under three weeks while eating dinner. I was luckily scheduled to go in the next day for a follow up. When I called them, all they could say is they would "consult the issue", not that they would fix it. No assurance they will help me. I spent the night worrying if I would be charged more or go weeks without a tooth. The next day I get a call saying they will fix it, but can I come in 30 minutes later as they are delayed. I get there at my new time and had to wait another 45 minutes, and after sitting quietly for the entire time Dr. Patel runs in with an extremely flippant attitude, sighing at me saying "well, sometimes even cars have a warranty of 10 years and things happen!" At one point I had to ask her to please stop being so aggressive. I asked her to please continue with the procedure, and then had to allow this person that just basically yelled at me to do this procedure on my teeth which made my hands shake with nerves. At the end of the procedure, she said she decided to change the colour to be more yellow to "match my teeth" (spoiler: it doesn't match). She did this without consulting me. In the light of the office (and being extremely shooken up and tbh scared by her extremely rude approach) I assumed it looked fine. I now see in natural light that my two front teeth are yellow. See picture attached. The first time she did the procedure it was white, and she decided to make it more yellow without consulting me. The original procedure had a follow up appointment, this one had nothing. In this process she also ruined one of my Invisalign retainers (using it to see the shape of my teeth) - which are very expensive to replace (and are supposed to last forever). I have spoken to the office manager. She said Dr. Patel will re-do this, but at a cost. Why would I pay for something that was changed without my consent? Why am I stuck with a damaged retainer, which I did not ruin, if was the doctor that ruined it? And when I asked why I am being told I need to pay again, and can I speak to a higher manager, I am told Dr. Patel has partial ownership of the organization, therefore if doesn't matter who else I speak to, she will have final say. Makes sense why she was so comfortable being so rude to me, and now I have two yellow front teeth which I apparently have to pay to replace, because one of the owners operated on me and therefore she doesn't have to admit that her original procedure was done incorrectly (for a tooth to fall off while biting into a sandwich) and now that she took it upon herself to decide to change my tooth colour, without my consent, which is just so wrong to do to someone. All of this is to say, steer clear of this place. If something is done wrong? Too bad! It's the owner that did the procedure and she will just tell you to pay for it to be done again. Unbelievable. I wanted to keep fighting to have this replaced so I can actually smile with confidence but would much rather save myself the stress and go somewhere else in a few months. I'm baffled they're still in business with this kind of treatment - you have ruined my teeth and my confidence in my smile. Highly do not recommend and even giving one star feels wrong. I urge you to go literally anywhere else.

He answers my questions very thoroughly, often citing what the latest research says and presenting information so that I can make the best decision for me and my situation. This office is very modern with many high tech features which I appreciate. The TV on the ceiling really makes the appointment go by quickly and is a nice distraction. I recently completed my Invisalign treatment and am very happy with the care and results I have received. The staff here are also very professional and courteous. Would recommend this place and especially Dr. Connors to anyone wishing to find a friendly, experienced, knowledgeable and gentle dentist.
