He tried the class and he did enjoy it so we signed up. Everything was super easy to set up and you pay tuition fees through an app. Overall, my son loves it and Mr. Kadel does a great job with the littles. It seems great in the beginning but after while parents are trapped and held hostage by these contractual snares which I'm not even sure are fully legal so I'm having my attorney look into some contractual laws and to examine it as we speak The routine itself becomes complacent and Master Durant himself burns core values like Integrity into these kids head which is good but doesn't set the example and show any integrity himself it's almost like he is grifting all these parents and treating the business an old corporate Gym membership, the only true thing he cares about is money. I told him my son needed to take a 90 day break because he is going through some emotional hardship right now due to some family adversity and I asked him to suspend my account for 90days and freeze my payments and he threatened me with collections and ruining my credit if I quit like this was some shady gym contract the term is an annual term which should be from date of enrollment and once you're close to the end of that year you should be able to cancel or not renew membership, but Durant tries to dictate the annual term very shady and he will continue charging your card every month as you are still enrolled and if block payment he tries to put your account in collections and mess up your credit report. SOUNDS LIKE PARENTS END UP HOSTAGE TO THESE CONTRACTS AND THAT IS UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES, WERE IS THE INTEGRITY IN THAT..... Oh there's more.... Having a teenage daughter (13 yo) that likes to stay in her bubble is a challenge. During summer…read morebreak, I wanted to find an activity that will get her active physically and mentally. It wasn't easy finding a place that tailors to teenagers (youth) since most of the martial arts businesses I've researched had smaller kids or adults. And to find a place that had some female students so that my daughter can easily relate with (girl standpoint). Long story short, the very first day of class, she had a huge meltdown outside of the studio not wanting to go through with it. There were a couple older kids who helped talk to her, calm her down, and pretty much "handheld" her into trying the class. Thankfully she got through it. Big thanks to John, Caesar, Bianca, and Stephanie. You guys are awesome! Fast forward 6 months later, my daughter has made new friends and has gained a lot more confidence. She enjoys coming to class especially when Sensei Dave teaches (the buff one haha). She says he's funny and cool. But actually everyone helps out, which is nice.
