When I simply stated, what you are trying to provide us was never discussed and never agreed upon she had the audacity to call me and yell at me for stressing her out? Im stressing her out? or is she stressing the bride out by calling and changing things 2 days prior ? She has no manners and is always running late. decor was supposed to be done by 3pm, she was still doing it until 6pm despite having access to the ballroom the entire day before the event. Every meeting she was an hour late and we waited outside her office for an hour and then blames me (the bride) for her being late! Despite me calling her to confirm appointments the day of, texting her when I was an hour away as well. She did not deliver what we discussed and honestly TAKE it from the BRIDE!!! DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT hire her. She is not worth the headache or stress. She is money hungry and the worst person I know in the wedding industry. Also, my coordinator at the hotel informed me that the other family she has an event for the following weekend is stressed out from her. My friend also stated that she had a huge problem with her and her mom and the Yasmine were fighting the day of the wedding due to Yasmine failing to provide what they discussed.

There were bugs all over this place with one crawling in my grandmothers plate and two crawling on my wedding cake we had to throw my cake away and kill bugs throughout the evening. Following is my reaction to our visit: We made an appointment to meet with John to check out his wedding venue. He actually described it as a tour but it turned out to be one dirty, unsightly room with unmatched furniture and a ridiculous set up. It is the type of place that you pull up to and keep going because once you see the location, you don't need to see the rest. First of all, this place is in a very run down area of town, with limited parking. It is a building that is connected to other businesses so it does not stand alone. The "chapel" really is just one room that has some chairs and cheap decorations placed throughout. I don't care what kind of budget is involved, this would NEVER be an option. You would be much better off just getting married outdoors in a more personalized setting. To sum it up: No Additional Thoughts: When you are considering the venue, also consider the person who will be taking your photos because oral and physical presentation does matter and this is the person you will have to see and interact with on your wedding day. Make sure that when you are looking at photos, you are seeing the complete picture, (not just photos taken of the stage, but from the stage), so you will know exactly what you will be looking at during the ceremony. You want to be okay with the entire room as there should be no distractions on your special day. Before you get excited about the photos you see, verify that they are actually taken at the site because they may be taken at another venue and will not be relevant to you. Be aware of the general area and make sure that it is safe, and has convenient and ample parking. Make sure that there are appropriate rooms and toilet facilities for taking care of business and changing. KNOW BEFORE YOU GO!

If you have driven much between Midtown and Buckhead, odds are that you've passed this castle-like house before. Parking is across Spring Street in a dedicated lot (underneath an on-ramp to the connector). You then just cross the street and are behind the home itself. We entered via the front door which faces Peachtree Street. Our tour lasted about an hour and focused on the architecture and history of the home. It was constructed early in the 20th century and has a lot of nice details (woodwork, light fixtures, wall murals, etc.). The tour does not include the upstairs (which is now office space for the historic trust that operates the site). It does include a brief visit to the basement, which is just an average semi-finished space. There is also a room with historical photos of the surrounding area - the shopping plaza that was built later and which surrounded the home on three sides at one point (only one 'arm' of derelict shops still exists). I recall when the Rhodes Theater was still in operation (showing older and/or cult films). I've driven by here countless times and it was nice to actually get an in-depth tour of the property. This is definitely worth doing once if you live in the area or have an interest in architecture.

While we did add florals and décor on the tables and mantels, we kept them in the feel of the home very lush and loose. We wanted people to explore the home the whole evening, not just for ceremony or dinner. We put the bar into the den so it was just off the dance floor (in the reception hall ) and would keep people flowing through the home even after dinner. She offered to work with us every step of the way and was always easy to reach when needed. I got my cake bar in the parlor with my 60" rounds plus sweetheart table and the rest of the guests were either seated in the library or on the porch. Dinner was buffet style, then we all returned for dancing and mingling. Several did mingle on the front and side porches, taking photos of the home, ceremony or photo backdrop. The day of is truly a whirlwind, the staff was on top of everything. I'm very hands on and they wouldn't allow me to do anything. = ) I too, returned from my honeymoon to find my security deposit check had been returned. It was even easy to pick up the cooler we realized had been left there about 2 weeks we later. I can't wait to see the rest of our photos as the peeks I've gotten have been amazing! It's kind of a misleading name because Wendy and Amber met with us a couple times before the wedding weekend, and were always available via phone or text for questions. They scheduled out everything and made sure we had everything we needed. Wendy ran the rehearsal the day before and gave very clear directions and assured everyone knew where they were supposed to be, at what time. On the day of the wedding, Amber and Alyssa were the backbone of it all!! Instead of me running around, dealing with vendors, directing the wedding party, helping the guys with their boutonnières and bustling my daughter's wedding dress.. they did it all!! They were amazing! Always easy to find and no hesitation to help us solve any problems. The wedding was held at our house, so there were multiple locations on our property where things were happening, but they were like ninjas and always seemed to be exactly where they were needed! One of the biggest things was my oldest's high school graduation party. All I knew is that I wanted to have this at our house and a 150+ people were coming. I called Wendy to come in and help me put my ideas together and get the ball rolling. After our first meeting, I had a huge weight off my shoulders knowing we had a plan and things were already set in place. The setting up of the graduation party was very easy and not stressful at all. Because of Wendy and Wendy's Wedding & Events we were able to sit back, relax and enjoy the graduation party ourselves.
