For the engagement pictures we went down to a park along the scioto river, we brought our new at the time puppy to be party of the photo shoot :) ! Amanda was so patient with him and got some great shots of him! The wedding day came and so did Amanda with two assistant photographers. Amanda did a wonderful job catching all the moments that I said were important to me as well as 900 extra moments! Each photographer took around 1000 pictures, so between the three of them, there was not a special moment missed! It was really important to me to have all types of pictures, the formal ones, the ceremony moments, artsy pictures, editorial pictures and journalistic. And I was extremely pleased with all the pictures!!! My wedding guests complemented Amanda and her assistants many times to me. They were amazed at her ability to blend in and be part of the crowd Amanda got us proofs of the edited pictures super quickly when we needed them in time for our second reception in another state!!!! (Turns out I had a lot in my closet already!) Courtney's home studio is the perfect set up for a boudoir shoot, I felt very comfortable. We hired Lois for 2 different sessions - to take our daughter's senior pictures @ Purdue in the Fall AND post-graduation ceremony family pictures. And she sent us the gallery in a matter of weeks - fast turnaround time. For the Fall session, Lois communicated with my daughter on photo spots desired & gave sound advise on the clothes that would pop with the Fall foliage background. She had scoped out the campus a few days prior and gave us good advise on what's best for lighting purposes. It was a very relaxed session and the pictures were great. We also wanted Lois to take our family pictures after graduation. We met @ a designated location (arches on State) and she formed in line a few minutes early to get us going. Lois even did me a favor - she bought a couple of champagne bottles for our cork popping photos. Despite the frigid weather (27 degrees), we walked to several locations as my daughter wanted pictures in iconic spots on campus. Donna of DK Photographic is a wonderful lady, I was recommended to use her through a former customer and friend of mine. The customer also used her for her wedding and raved about her work. When my dress was having some issues during the wedding, she was there to pin it and make me feel better before entering the dance floor. My wedding planner, couldn't even do what Donna did. What pushed me to write this review is based on how Chris managed his interaction with the headshot photo shoot. The lack of integrity in how he manages his business left me feeling super jaded and defeated after our session. It's important that other clients/customers are aware of his practices prior to trying out a shoot with Chris. What really got me is when he refused to redo them or offer a refund for the shots. You will think that if a client/customer hates their headshot that much, you will naturally want to work with them, give that the images/portraits/photos are a reflection of your work!! He didn't use a reflector and wasn't willing to work with me on the angles to make the pictures look professional. From the beginning, I was super specific about what I was looking for. I needed professional headshots for my webpage, hired Chris to do them, he sent the pictures back within an hour, and I was really disappointed in the images. My whole team agreed that the portrait headshots turned out terrible. The only pro: He's communicative, and responds right away. I will give him that.
