I worked at Twisters as a coach, and unfortunately my experience with management was very…read moredisappointing. I became genuinely sick while I was still at work and let management know that I was not physically able to work the following day. I also tried to find coverage. Instead of having a professional conversation about the situation, I was told that I was being let go because they needed staff they could "rely on." After my termination, I attempted to contact the owner simply to clarify my final pay and whether I needed to complete any paperwork or return anything. I was blocked on WhatsApp and did not receive a response to my text or email, so I eventually had to contact another member of management to get information about my final paycheck. My final payment was ultimately sent, but the way the entire situation was handled felt unnecessarily unprofessional and disrespectful. Employees should be able to communicate about illness, termination, and final pay without being ignored or blocked. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend this workplace to other coaches looking for a professional and supportive work environment.

It broke my heart when my daughter told me she is now fearful of returning. After reading other reviews on Google, it's clear this is a recurring issue for many parents. I no longer feel this environment is safe or professional, and I would strongly advise other parents to stay away.

Yes, their fees are quite high, but they mostly use young people as instructors. Some of them don't have a lot of experience in coaching, so the quality of coaching you get will vary. It is extremely competitive to get into the teams where you get better quality coaching. Just think of this as a place where your kids go to learn some gymnastics, but don't expect them to achieve any professional levels generally.

Avoid this center: A total waste of two years…read more Gold Star Gymnastics is a pure money-trap that prioritizes business over athlete development. My daughter came from a competitive background (Hot Shots at CSC) and is a world record holder in hula hooping, yet the coaches here showed zero interest in her potential. We invested in double classes and summer camps to accelerate her progress, but she was stuck in their "orange/yellow" level for a year with no path forward. The "coaches" never bothered to provide targeted training or help her reach the pre-team level. To make matters worse, they gave her crushing negative feedback right to her face after a pre-team evaluation, which ultimately caused her to quit gymnastics entirely. They rely on their central location to attract new families, but they do not care about the students. Save your time and money--look elsewhere.

This review is for birthday parties only…read more You can have a group of 20 kids or 30 kids. You get 55min on mat, 5min to wash hands and transition and 30min upstairs to eat and do cake. I wish they had an extended option for time as everything was great except the timing. The kids loved the gym time and could have done 10-20 min more easily, but with kids still having food in their plates and not quite done eating we were told it was time to go and "you'll get your goodie bags ON THE WAY OUT" lol I get it. We paid for 1.5hrs and we got 1.5hrs. It just felt so abrupt, and they said there was another party coming but there wasn't. If the coaches had said it's another $ for every 15 minutes, I would have gladly paid it, but alas it was not an option. We went elsewhere to wrap up the party. Positives: The coaches were nice, engaging and helpful. The kids enjoyed themselves. Negatives: The lack of alternative options on timing. Overall, I would still recommend a birthday party here, but be cognizant of the time!

"This delightful parent participation class focuses on coordination, balance, and general motor…read moredevelopment using props and special preschool gymnastics equipment. A parent or guardian assists their little gymnast while the instructor guides class activities." The advertisement isn't quite up to par. The instructor does not actually guide each activity. The instructor gives an overall list of many activities and expects the parent to remember all of them and then guide their child individually through the tasks. It doesn't work well at all. You really feel like you're on your own with a whole floor of equipment in front of you that you don't know what to do with. I wouldn't call that guidance from an instructor. This pertains to the five and under. I don't know what it's like for older children. This occurred at race Street. I don't know the name of the instructor. I would assume all instructors are functioning within what they're taught to teach the children. I would assume that the instructors are all uniform in there way of teaching classes. If this is not the case then maybe it should be. I think that this gymnasium can do a lot better. When I took my children there 25 years ago it was a lot better The coaches actually gave guidance to the parents step by step along the way so that it worked well.

By far the worst and most unprofessional experience I've ever had with a coach…read more As a fitness coach who has worked with many coaches over the years, I have high standards for professionalism, but Coach Daniel failed on every level. I was randomly assigned to Coach Daniel after the intro class with Coach Mark. Not too long after I worked with him, I realized his punctuality and communication were a total mess. He was late to our very first session and kept showing up late after that. (Screenshot #2) Other than his constant tardiness, he was frequently distracted and disengaged while training me. It got to the point where he completely no-showed on me once without any heads-up (Screenshot #3）. After I brought up my concerns about his punctuality, hoping things would change, he even explicitly admitted in text messages that the business has no formal policy for coach no-shows or severe delays, and unpunctuality and missed lessons are a regular issue among the coaches at this gym (Screenshot #1 & #3）. For our latest session he claimed at the last minute he would be 45 minutes late again and even unilaterally decided to hand me off to another coach without my permission (Screenshot #5）. When I reached out to discuss his professional attitude, he literally ghosted me for days with zero response. When he finally got back to me, there was no apology or explanation, just "I think it's best moving forward that you work with a different coach" or offered a refund(Screenshot #6）. On top of being constantly late and ghosting me, Coach Daniel went out of his way in our texts to poison my view of the entire coaching team. He constantly talked trash about his colleagues behind their backs, mocked other coaches' client progress (Screenshot #4), bragged about poaching clients from his coworkers (Screenshot #7), and tried to stir up random drama by claiming other trainers were creeping around his clients (Screenshot #8). Rather than just doing his job, he was busy gossiping, throwing people under the bus, and creating a toxic environment. I have formally reported to the Better Business Bureau (BBB Case #25170416) with full text and message record evidence. Loopkicks is honestly too good of a facility to have a coach like this. It's a pity that a quality gym like Loopkicks allows such unprofessional behavior from a coach. If you value your time and money, stay away from Daniel Nguyen.

Mark lacks basic knowledge regarding client safety and clearly cares more about collecting fees than protecting his students. Furthermore, he and his staff lack formal training; they started as a group of friends meeting at a park before turning it into a business. I highly advise against taking classes here. I am seriously concerned for the safety of others, especially children. "Only one coach seems to care about teaching.
